If reviews were standardized on quality these would be a 3, but FOR THE PRICE they're a 4, maybe even a 5 because, let's face it, $36 or whatever is chump change. I had some Frye sandals that were probably made in some non-Frye factory, but those lasted through YEARS of abuse. Then I bought some cheapos that I chucked in the trash after one summer. If these beat that, okay, but otherwise I'm going to learn my lesson and pay for quality if I can find it. Also, the fit on these is pretty bad. These feel a whole size large. On the bright side, they're attractive and seem like they might hold up better than my last pair.
