ASME tanks are designed for stationary use and are typically installed underground or above ground (local propane installation regulations must be followed). The cylinder comes with a lid installed, arrives EMPTY, and vacuum purged ready for filling with propane, and is epoxy coated on the base of the tank for superior rust protection. The tank is preinstalled with a propane float gauge that can easily accommodate a "Remote Ready Dial" (sold separately) and is fitted with high-quality premium valves - 1.25-inch ACME Fill valve, Service Valve, and Relief valve.
