I was little worried about receiving a tank that was a 2+ years ago. These tanks are only 'good' for 12 years before they need to be recertified. Some places will refuse to fill them after 12 years. I had to order these for 4 concrete buggies that were just delivered to me without propane tanks! How was I supposed to make use of them without the tanks? These fit the bill very nicely and I was able to get 2 extra for my forklifts too. It might not seem like a big deal to many of you out there researching propane tanks, but come on man, a well-made, modestly priced 33.5-pound forklift tank is hard to come by now. I must say that I did hesitate, they had 16 available and I thought "I better get approval to get these" and when I returned to Amazon they were down to 6! We are a rental company with 4 of the above-mentioned buggies and 32 forklifts that operate on propane, so we need tanks (your welcome) and I should have purchased more than I did, but that is another story, for another time. ... show more

Seems to be a good quality tank. It is listed as pre-purged but for the first few fills the tractor would not start below half tank. The fix was to get it "topped off" and it now works fine for the whole tank. My only complaint is minor: the old cylinder had a full round carry handle rim. The rim on this new tank isn't fully circular, so a full tank is painful to carry unless you are wearing gloves. ... show more
