-Update since Purchase- Seller contacted me through Amazon's message system after they read my review. They showed great concern for my satisfaction and quickly sent me replacement products. The replacements work wonderfully and without defect. It really is more of a spray than a mist, but you can spray more or less by varying the pressure you place on the plunger. Definitely helps to control the amount of oil used and reduces waste. Bottle is a pleasantly decorative Glass bottle (which I prefer.) Conclusion: Great quality sprayer coupled with Great, fast and Consumer- Oriented customer service gains them a 5 star rating from me. -Original Review- Sprayer arrived in its packaging with no apparent damage. Unfortunately, once I filled it with oil and attempted to use it for the first time, the bottom half of the sprayer mechanism detached from the rest of the sprayer falling to the floor (and luckily missing my toes.) It wasted most of the oil from the bottle. The only way I can use it is by holding it such that my hand is gripping both the bottle half and the sprayer half or by holding the bottle using two hands. Considering it is relatively expensive oil sprayer and was so highly rated, I was quite unhappily surprised by the lack of workmanship. I use this for my olive oil and cooking every day. The sprayer has a fine mist spray, works consistently, and looks nice sitting out on the counter. Also very easy to open and refill. Great product for the money.

This is not the least expensive olive oil sprayer, but it is worth every extra penny! We use olive oil almost exclusively at our house, and this spray dispenser has taken that to the next level. We have refilled it 5 times in 5 months, so it has held up to a lot of use. The mist is fairly fine, but not so fine that it settles and leaves residue everywhere. It also fans out 2-3 inches, which is enough to cover a reasonable swath of a surface. You might be wondering what things you could possibly spray with so much olive oil… We spray our stainless steel pans before cooking. We spray our cast iron griddle before searing. We spray it on tomato slices before adding salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar. We spray it on baguette slices before toasting them into crostini, in the oven. We spray it on hot pasta before we sprinkle on fresh parmesan. One thing I also love is how efficiently we are able to use olive oil, with this sprayer - there is never any wasted, because it allows you to spray the perfect amount, once you are familiar with the trigger and the best motion for coverage. This sprayer is amazing. I use it to spray olive oil in pans or on food for browning. It does not clog and sprays just the right amount of oil. It looks fancy on my counter and I have been happy with its performance.

I bought this to use for canola oil when baking pre-made french fries and such. It works reasonably well. I love the glass oil jar. The mouth was plenty wide enough to not spill when filling directly. Sprays a nice flat fan at high speed. I wish it would spray a little slower. Keep the red trigger lock on it when not in use if you have children. It won't stop them but it does give you a little extra time to notice they stole your sprayer. It is small if you are planning to use it more than a typical noncommercial consumer. ... show more

I couldn’t be happier with this item. I’d ordered a different on that didn't spray well. This one constantly sprays either olive oil and canola oil, easily, with no need to ‘prime.’ East to use even with my small hand. Attractive enough to leave on the kitchen counter next to my stovetop.

This is the best oil sprayer I have had. The others all broke within a few weeks and were not repairable. This one sprays evenly, pull all the oil from the bottom of the sprayer bottle and so far has been most effective. I have had this bottle now 7 months and it's still working well. Oct 2023 - Discovered this product in an article. We enjoy it in the kitchen. Does a great job of spraying a mist of oil on to the pan. Does not leak or drip. Looks nice on the counter also. Better than using a spray can and we can control the level of mist. Shipping was fine. Bottle is glass and feels sturdy. No issues. I do recommend. ... show more
