I’m a teacher and I’m familiar with the brand Flagship. They offer quality and style. This rug is no different. It is well made and worth the cost because it will last for years with proper care. The colors are rich and the design is modern. The white circles are not iron ons but rather the same material as the black background. The pile level is perfect for a classroom. It’s easy to sweep over. It’s not too thick or fluffy. It still provides plenty of comfort even over a tile floor. The stitching around the edges is what sets this rug apart from the competition. It is very well done. I took a close up photo to show the detail. The backing is great quality too. I don’t have carpet tape or a rubber rug liner under mine yet it stays in place in a high foot traffic area. It hasn’t scratched the floor either. It can handle classroom level abuse. My first flagship rug lasted over 8 years. I expect the same for this one and I’ll update as time progresses. This one is fairly new so I can’t comment on the durability of this exact rug. However, seeing the quality of it makes my expectations high. It is a big ticket classroom item but with the quality, durability and style I highly recommend it. I purchased this classroom carpet last year, and it has been fantastic. It’s been used daily by my students during whole group lessons and morning meetings. This carpet has held up beautifully in my first grade classroom! The dark color hides dirt and food stains, the carpet has stayed soft, and it hasn't shed or pilled at all. I have loved this classroom rug especially due to all of the possible spills you can get in an elementary school. This rug has survived grape juice and every time it has come right out of the carpet with just paper towels and no stains are left. I’m sure a lot of that has to do with the color but I think black and white is definitely the way to go. I definitely feel like this is a larger purchase for your classroom but the best priced classroom rug I have found for sure. I also feel like the rug is the perfect amount of thickness.
