This is a nice adaptable solar light that works well. It comes with a small kit including a insert and carbiner to hang the light from a cord which is exactly my plan. This does put out a fair amount of light but not too bright, so it will work great on our back porch hanging from a tree limb like wind chimes. it would also work on a flag pole that was made for this fixture and you could expect it to light the flag, but not much else which I think is the design. it has a small button to turn it on and a plastic film to remove covering the solar panels. ... show more

We desperately needed a new flag light and this one did not disappoint. The reason I chose it is because I had a solar light that had a panel that was separate than the light. The flag would get caught on the panel and cause the flag to tear. This light will not give me that problem because the panel is on top of the light itself. It's one piece! Because of that, you'll hav to make sure no trees are blocking the top of your pole because you need the sun to hit it. It's bright and gives you light throughout the night. No need to remember a light switch. It is easy to attach to the pole, out of the way of the flag. It's perfect! ... show more
