Comes in a small box, the sections screw together. Actually better quality than my first impression.. flag is sewn, not printed. Is it the best? No, but definately not a piece of junk either. I'd buy it again.

We bought this flag to hang from our house. It is very well made and the colors are vibrant and beautiful! We went with the six foot pole which made all the difference in elevating it a little higher. Great value for the money. Love it!!

Well, the kit is all inclusive, but there are definitely some cons to it. If you are looking for a starter kit to hang a flag for the first time and have a very low wind area to hang it, this would do the trick, but know that it is not what I would classify as "heavy duty." I have hung many American flags over the years and the base for this kit is probably the smallest I've every seen. It would not work well where we hang our flag as we get a fair amount of wind. Also, the flag is more burgundy than it is red. The flag material seems like it would hold up well, but it definitely isn't the nice red that you normally see on the American flag. Overall, not the best option.

We hung this flag up in our backyard, over our coop and it looks very nice. The mounting plate is sturdy and feel strong enough to hold up to some inclement weather. The black paint/coating hasn't chipped or rubbed off. The screws used to tighten the pole in the mounting bracket, as well as to mount the bracket, are a shiny chrome or aluminum color. They do no match the black mount and black poles. I used my own, much stronger, black screws for the mount but will have to paint the other screw for the pole. The poles are easy to assemble. The ability to shorten or lengthen the flapole, by removing sections, is nice and a unique feature. You aren't stuck with a larger pole for an area that may not requre it. However, the weight of the supplied flag and at the 45 degree angle, there seems to be an ever so slight droop in the pole. So, maybe the rigid pole would be better. Either way, the pole and mount, plus the 360 degree swivel clips for the flag, all work great and look nice, once installed. The flag is okay, had a very plastic feel to it. The flag has handled being outside, so far. It is doing well. I'm hoping since the area it is in, doesnt get tons of sun, the color won't fade too quickly. The material it is made of will fade quickly in full sun. Overall, a decent value, and worth getting. I got it more for the pole, than the flag. I prefer my American flags to be made in America, if im going to hang it on my property.
