This past winter, a gust of wind sent my flag flying across my front yard along with snapping my flag holder clear off. In looking on Amazon for a replacement in time for spring, I came across this very nice product. Installation was easy as it closely matched the layout of the holder I was replacing, although this may not be the case for everyone. In terms of use, the holder fits a standard flag pole used to hold a 3 x 5 foot flag, and the knob to adjust the holder works well too. However, past experience has led me to hold judgment on this last point. After a few rain storms, the previous flag holder I had rusted and was stuck in the same position thereafter. I'll have to see if this is the case here too. Still, not a bad purchase altogether and it gets the job done. With any luck, the long term use concerns will be a positive.

Easy to install and does the job. I like that you can set it to multiple positions, if you want. My previous flag holder was one fixed position only.

The install was very easy but I did have to uninstall it and use better anchors than what it came with. It pulled out of the brick within a day. With better quality anchors, it has been fine for over a week. The white finish has a nice clean look. I do wonder about long term though as I can see it flex some in the wind but the mount I had before from another seller flexed at least as much if not worse so I think this one should be ok. Not bad for the price of it I think.

I like this flag staff holder mainly because it is adjustable. It's well built, with deep teeth to hold whatever position you set. For those where finish matters, it is not machined from a solid black but, appears to be a molded, non-ferrous metal, most likely aluminum and it still shows some of the mold marks. But for me, this is not a con since the holder is not decoration and only a means to display the flag. However, there is one problem: the supplied screws and wall anchors are worthless. You will need to obtain longer and better screws if you hope to keep your flag flying in any sort of wind/weather. With the supplied screws, only about 1/2 inch is available to penetrate whatever surface you are attaching this to. While the wall anchor is appropriate for this size screw, after you've placed the screws through the body of the holder, there is not enough screw left to bite into the anchor. So, get longer and more robust screws and appropriate anchors before attaching this.

So I bought an aluminum one of these because it looked very nice. However over the years you can see the corrosion of the aluminum so I wanted to get a replacement. This unit is pretty much the same type of bracket the only real difference is that this is power coated or painted white which will help it look better longer. Although being a bright white, and showing dirt easier I think this will hold up to the elements much better. It comes with screws and wall anchors for mounting as well. One thing mine didn't come with is a thumb screw for actually mounting the flag pole to the mount. I would have expected that. However other reviews mention it but mine only came with four screws and four anchors. Otherwise, great unit at a reasonable price.

I picked this up when a flag poll I ordered was missing the hanger it was supposed to include. I'm actually happy that happened as this is so much better than the one I was getting. It's very easy to install and came with all the hardware so it was ready to install right out of the box. I like that this holder features and adjustable angle so I can custom set it for my own deck. Very happy with the look and quality of this flag holder and would absolutely recommend!

I picked up a flag mount last year and during the winter the temps dropped to 50 below. In addition, winds were upwards of 60mph. The mount shattered. This one seems much sturdier. The two pieces are whole where as my last one had weak points due to gaps in the design for multiple positions. This one you get multiple positions by losening the fly nut and the two pieces separate so you can adjust and then re-titghten. The material also feels heavier and solid compared to the other one I picked up. This one has 4 screws to secure it. Granted I would prefer a 2 inch screw to ensure it has plenty to grip into the wood but I will replace that myself. I can't expect the designer to account for high wind locations. The mount was easy to install and in my opinion it's going to be durable compared to the other one I got last year. I also feel this one is worth the cost.

Very nice addition to my outside home. Comes with everything you need inside the box. I was able to replace an old metal cheap holder that came with my home upon purchase. This was a really nice put together flag holder. Nice black paint on it. Easy to install on the side of my home. Just took a marker and mark the holes with a marker. Did some predrill to have an easier time getting the screws in. Works really nice with my flag. Nice pick-up item.
