    • Just what I needed

This simple lightweight bag is a hit. The fabric is thin and tough. It has comfortable adjustable straps, and a good zipper that can easily be opened with one hand but doesn't fall open by itself. If the bag isn't full it flattens down nicely against my body. In other words, it's not over-engineered. The inside is white, so I can see my stuff - that's important! There is plenty of room in the main compartment for essentials, and a little mesh pocket to contain tiny things. I use the security pocket on the back for small paperwork that I want to keep flat, but it's big enough for a mini phone, passport, or money. The bag is supposed to be waterproof, although I haven't had a chance to test this. There's a good choice of inconspicuous colors as well as hard-to-leave-behind yellow. Good size for basics (very small notebook, pen, pill box, wallet, keys, headphones, lip balm, and a little snack). I love how easy it is to use hands free. I can use it in urban environments as a sling purse, but it also works well as a hip pack for hiking. The Fjällräven logo is reflective, which is a nice touch. I love the red gold color. It’s super adjustable, and my large chest fits easily. I do wish it had an extra internal pocket. It would help my headphones safe from a hand sanitizer explosion as well as make it a bit easier to organize. My biggest gripe is that the secure pocket technically fits my iPhone 13 Pro Max, but just barely. If you have a larger case, it might be a problem. Although if you are wearing Fjällräven trousers or a coat, this is not a problem because they have all the pockets. If you want more of a longer hiking daytrip or are taking day trips from a campsite, I prefer its big brother, which not only has more room for necessities but also straps on the bottom for a water bottle or jacket. But 90% of the time, if I’m not being fancy, this is my favorite. ... show more

Love it. Use it everyday for essentials depending on our day’s adventures. Snacks, mini first aid kit, sunglasses, wallet. It has one elastic mesh pocket where I keep my phone, just wish it had one more so that items in the big compartment could be more organized.
