Absolutely love this bag. My son has special needs and we live in London, so I needed a bag that would hold all of my necessary items plus my son’s items, be easy to carry as a bag or a backpack, not kill my back, and yet I wanted it to not look like a traditional backpack. This bag holds everything that my old backpack held, and yet is lighter on my back because the bag itself is so light. Everything fits, it converts from backpack to bag so easily, and as I go from bus to Tube to walking to bus again, etc., it has fit all of my needs for a large purse or tote that I can also carry as a backpack with ease. It has the profile of a tote rather than a backpack, and instead of groaning that I am back to carrying a backpack, every time I put this on, I smile because I love this bag so much. It’s very simple, a small zipped pocket on the inside, a larger one on the front and the main body of the bag, plus a key holder (to be honest the key holder is my least favourite part, as I wish it had a hook instead of just the loop, but I love the bag so much that it doesn’t detract from my overall assessment). And yet somehow I feel more organised than I did with my previous purses or backpacks. This translates well from city living, to being used as a daypack for a walk in the woods, to an amusement park, to a carry on bag. And living in London, the water repelling wax coating is a must and works very well. Bravo Fjallraven, another fantastic product.

It can be a longhandled tote bag one minute and convert to a backpack the next. Really durable and stylish and surprisingly comfortable as a backpack.

I bought this as a second attempt at a diaper bag after getting frustrated with never being able to find anything in the myriad of pockets in my first. This bag is fantastic. It's the perfect size for all the diaper-bag necessities (could maybe stand to be a smidge wider), but I love the versatility of the straps/handles, and it stands up on its own, which helps with ease of use too. I'd originally bought the Copper Green color, but it was more teal than shown in the pictures, so I exchanged for the Dark Garnet and the color is beautiful. I can absolutely see myself using this as a tote and a beach bag for years to come. For now, this bag brings me joy and makes schlepping around diapers and singing toys slightly more tolerable.

One of the best backpacks made. I love how long the straps are and the option to wear it on one shoulder or your back to free your hands. I use it daily to carry my 64oz water jug, lunch, makeup, and whatever else I want. I will also be taking it on a European trip in may.

I received this totepack today (exactly when it was expected) and it's now my favorite bag for work. It's roomy, the straps are nice and long and my MacBook Air fits in it easily with space left over. I have several Fjallraven backpacks and find them all highly utile. This one though, is less outdoorsy looking and would work well in any environment. This will be a great traveling bag since I can convert it to a backpack to spread out the weight. The color is good and e leather acc nuts add quality. I will probably buy a second one in another color for my camera equipment.

I love this bag! It’s super roomy! It fits my laptop, a big textbook and a 1.5 inch binder plus pencil case/calculator etc. The straps are a great length for me, but I’m about 5’9” and larger. For a shorter, thinner person, the straps may be too long, especially when carried as a backpack.

Great quality product, the G1000 feels solid. Zippers are great too, really smooth. The leather accents look super classy. The only thing is that the handles are a little bit too long, and there isn't any way to adjust it other than sewing it yourself.

This bag is fine -- the leather came a bit scuffed up. Ultimately I opted to return this for a few reasons: -the black fabric looks slightly faded. It's not a deep black, but has more of a gray hue to it. It's the canvas fabric, but I was expecting more of a deep black. -the fabric is a lint attracter! Every small particle you come across WILL attach to this bag and hang on until you lint roll it. -the bag feels a bit to large and awkward to use as a regular tote, but the straps aren't particularly comfortable to use as a backpack
