I doubt I used this canvas the way most people do- but it worked for my purpose and I’m sure it will work for yours as well! As someone who has never used canvas before, it was pretty easy to use. My biggest issue was taking the staples out of the back, which was a requirement for my project. I was able to find an inexpensive tool kit to take the staples out in a pretty easy way. I bought this canvas to sublimate onto. Because it is cotton, I had to use sublimation HTV on the canvas, before adding my design. The completed results were AMAZING!!!! I have to do some tweaks in my design to make the color fit the frame more, but that was a ME issue and not a product issue. The appearance of my design came out fantastic. The colors were vibrant. The canvas was able to stretch back over the frame with ease after using the heat press on it several times. Lastly, I even had my husband touch the front to feel how absolutely smooth it felt. I love it so much - and because I’m creating these designs for his family reunion as a “family tree” type thing, his family loved it as well. I will be buying several more packs as now I have to make one for each household.

As someone who loves to paint in my free time, I’ve tried a lot of different canvases, and I have to say, I’m really impressed with the **FIXSMITH Stretched White Blank Canvas** pack. If you're an artist (whether you're just starting out or you've been painting for years), this bulk pack of 8 canvases is an excellent choice for your next project. ### **High-Quality Cotton Surface** One of the things that stood out to me right away is the **100% pure cotton** material used for these canvases. I can feel the difference in the texture compared to some other cheaper options I’ve tried. Cotton creates an ideal surface for acrylics, oils, and other painting media, and these canvases make painting so much smoother. The surface has just the right amount of tension, allowing my brushes to glide over it effortlessly. It doesn’t feel overly stiff, but it’s durable enough to withstand multiple layers of paint without feeling like it’s going to tear or lose its structure. ### **Pinewood Stretcher Bars – Firm and Sturdy** The canvases are stretched tightly over **pinewood bars**, which gives them a really firm structure. I’ve had experiences in the past with canvases that feel too loose or sag after a few brush strokes, but with these, I don’t have to worry about that. The edges are flawless, making it easy to frame or hang directly on the wall if you want to showcase your work immediately. Plus, the stretcher bars are solid enough to hold up over time without warping or bending. ### **Triple Primed with Gesso** What really sets these canvases apart is the fact that they’re **pre-coated with 8 oz. of acid-free acrylic gesso**. I was able to start painting as soon as I took them out of the packaging – no need to prime them myself. The gesso coating doesn’t crumble or crack, even after applying multiple layers of paint. It’s a huge time-saver and ensures that my artwork will last for years without fading or peeling, even if I use water-based paints or solvents. The primer is really high-quality, so I’m not worried about the paint seeping through or damaging the canvas over time. ### **Perfect Size for Various Projects** I’ve found the **12 x 16 inch** size to be incredibly versatile for different projects. Whether I’m working on a small landscape, portrait, or just a fun DIY craft, this size is perfect. It’s large enough to give me room to work but not so big that it becomes overwhelming. And with 8 canvases in the pack, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to experiment with different painting techniques, like wet-on-wet and pour painting. ### **Great Value for Money** One of the best things about this set is the **affordability**. With 8 canvases, I get a lot of value for the price, and I feel like I’m getting professional-quality materials without the premium price tag. The canvases are well-made and sturdy, making them perfect for both beginners and more experienced artists. I’ve used them for a range of projects, from practicing different techniques to creating gifts, and I’ve always been happy with the result. ### **Some Minor Issues with Delivery** The only downside I encountered (and it’s a small one) is that a couple of canvases arrived with minor damage during shipping. A couple had slight rips or tears in the fabric, but this wasn’t a huge issue because I only had one or two affected canvases, and they were easy to set aside. I’m sure this is more of a shipping issue than a problem with the product itself, but I felt it was worth mentioning. That said, the customer service team was helpful when I reached out, and they handled the issue quickly. ### **Ready to Display or Frame** Another thing I love is that these canvases come **ready to display**. Once you finish your painting, you can easily hang it up on a wall or place it on a shelf. No additional framing is required, though you can frame them if you prefer a more polished look. It makes the whole process so much easier and more satisfying. ### **Final Thoughts** Overall, I’m thrilled with the **FIXSMITH Stretched White Blank Canvas** pack. It’s a fantastic product at an affordable price, and I feel like I’m getting great quality for my money. Whether you're a hobbyist or a seasoned artist, these canvases work beautifully for various painting techniques, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for solid, reliable canvases. Despite the minor shipping issue, these are definitely worth it, and I’ll definitely be purchasing them again for my future painting projects.

These FIXSMITH stretched canvases are mounted on wood frames and are plenty strong for mineral collage artwork and an 8 pack of 12x16 inch pieces is just right for something that could be very heavy in larger sizes. They are easy to use, and the canvas is plenty thick to glue objects onto for wall art and they remain stable with a smooth surface to work with for a stable collection. I mount mineral and natural-found desert objects onto the canvas with wood glue and sell them at AZDESERTART on Etsy and do well with them. Stability is important and the canvas stays tight when covered and finished. Great find!
