Oh wow I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this muslin, it's a bit heavier weight and less sheer than most other muslins that i've bought online so it will be perfect for making mock-ups for jackets and things, and i might even sew a couple of blouses or a petticoat out of it. I bet it would also be great for printing on. As someone else mentioned it does have a mild hay-like fragrance, but this isn't unpleasant and i'm sure it will dissipate upon washing. I am about to make a toile for a coat with this muslin, if i remember i will update with pictures when I'm done to show drape.

I make my own garments and for certain garments I usually make a toile (a mock up garment which is the first translation of pattern to fabric) to see if there is any need to make any modifications to the garment. Muslin is the fabric of choice for a toile and I used to get mine from Joann’s when they had special discounts. Since they went out of business I have had to find alternatives and I was very happy when I came across this deal. This is a 63” wide muslin which is a great width for dressmaking. 10 yards is a great length as it will easily make about 3-4 toiles and more if you are only making a toile for specific portions like a bodice. However when I measured, the length that arrived was not quite the full 10 yards, but was instead about 2-3” short. It was not enough to remove a star based on the value of the item. I also liked the quality of the fabric, it was comparable to what I bought from Joann’s, and was closely woven. It was an unblemished muslin which was perfectly serviceable for what I had in mind. All in all, this was great value at the price, and I would highly recommend.

Good quality muslin fabric. My daughter just started sewing and this was very easy for her to work with to make a few projects. Came packaged well, and clean. Raw edges that clean up nice.

I ordered and received a 5 yard bundle of unbleached muslin. It is a good weight, not the heaviest, but heavier weight than the mediums I have bought. It wrinkled when washed, and shrunk a little, but to me that says it is 100 percent cotton! It came as pictured, folded in half and half again and rolled into a tight roll, it was NOT folded up flat. The folds were not visible when washed/dried. I just threw in washer on cotton and dried on same. It says wrinkle resistant, maybe it would have less wrinkles if I pulled it right away from drier, but I forgot about it overnight and had to do a bit of ironing. I do find the 63 in wide muslin easier to use for quilt backs, call me old fashion, and at the price of about 4 dollars for 5 yards I think this is a great value for the money and I would buy again!

This medium-weight muslin is a very handy accessory to have in your sewing room. You can use it for designing garments and checking for fit. If you are also a quilter, you can use muslin to back fabric when you want to make a strip-pieced block, being a base block, other times you can use it as a lining when making a purse or tote bag, or also as a base when embroidery which will help get floss knots concealed when needed. I remember a long time ago I found some muslin by the bolt on sale at half price, and I bought it. I found it was terrific to have on hand for so many things. Over the years, it of course, ran out and I haven't found it at such a great price again, so I was especially pleased to get this much ahead of time. I am assuming that I will probably not run out of muslin for the rest of my life now that I am getting old and slowing down in my sewing activities. I appreciate the opportunity to use this muslin. Thank you.

A great length of muslin. I originally grabbed this to help with various patterns and projects I've been needing muslin for. A decent thickness and overall quality, doesn't wear down too easily. Thanks to the overall cut and material, it's pretty resistant to wrinkles as well, while remaining soft. If you've got a sewing project, FIVEIZERO's got you covered.

I needed some muslin fabric for several different projects, so I gave this a shot. Fantastic material! It washed and dried great, is a nice medium weight, and soft to the touch. I got the 10 yard "bolt" which is really just folded up in the package, and the size given is accurate to the product description. I washed this muslin by itself, and there was a LOT of lint in the dryer trap, so you may want to stop the dryer halfway through and clean that out, then let it finish. Would definitely order this again, five stars.
