Update July 2015 - lighters lasted for a few months, getting more and more intermittent in their reliability as the months progressed. Now, from the 5 I purchased, I'm down to one that actually still works. If they could make them a bit more reliable, and if they put in a window so you could see how much butane you're refilling them with, they'd be great! But due to the below average reliability over time, I've reduced my rating to 3 stars, just average. So, I had no idea when I ordered these that they'd be so cool! The material they're made of makes 'em! It's this almost mix of a matte plastic and rubber, that has a nice feel to the grip. Also love that they have no logos or writing on them. They almost got 5 stars, but I've found the ignition to be intermittent at times, so I had to dock them a point. But for the price, I'd say these lighters can't be beat, and the fact you can refill them is an even greater bonus! I'd buy 'em again, but doubt I'll ever have to! ... show more

They seem to last as long as a bic does so I may likely purchase some more. If the prices go up on this item I will never buy it. If anything the price needs to go even lower. Out of the five, 1 lasted me 4 days, but that was my fault, I tried to use it as a bottle opener. The second lighter lasted me an amazing 12 days. The third I gave to my friend. He said it lasted three days. The fourth is currently being used and its been going for about 8 days. The fifth one is waiting to be used. Out of the five, two has clicker issues as to be expected and the other one had a gas feed issue. I use my lighter many many times a day, upwards around 100 times maybe more. I smoke tobacco out of a one-hitter. I need jet lighters because it burns a cleaner flame. As its a jet lighter it gets hotter than bics where they have a cooler flame and doesnt get hot enough to burn out impurities in the butane. ... show more
