I am not one to dress my animals. I find it a little embarrassing to be truthful, but my pitty mix has such thin fur I was worried about her being cold. I got this in the XXL. I didn't want to spend a lot and this seemed like a really good price for 3. I got them today and LOVE them. They fit my pitty perfectly. They may look a little snug in the picture, but they are really stretchy so she is very comfortable in it. It's also thin, but warm, which I like. I didnt want anything bulky. They are also very easy to get on. My other dog looked jealous (and she's old and sweet and I didn't want her to feel left out) so I put one on her too. They are a little big on her, but still worked. She could totally wear this size if I need her to have one one extremely cold days. So, I think the sizing is very flexible. I would say my dog is a medium size dog, so they are probably too small for a lab, golden retriever, rotty, etc. They need to make some bigger ones!!!!! I'm not sure of my pitty's weight because she wasn't ful grown last time we weighed her. My black and white dog is about 36 to 40 lbs. for reference. ... show more

Love the fabric and the colors are vibrant. They are the perfect weight for our cool Autumn. I thought I was ordering the right size according to the size chart, but they are generously sized. The medium is just a bit too big for my 14 week old Frenchie. I love these little coats and he will grow into them, so I will keep these, and order 3 more in the small. These sweaters are soft and cozy, which is perfect for my 16lb puppy with short hair who gets chilly easily. They work well for light warmth on days below 65°F but aren’t suitable for snow-like conditions unless used as a layer. On especially cold days, I’ve paired them with a jacket, and they fit nicely with the jacket since they’re thin and form-fitting. The length is standard compared to most dog sweaters, and my pup seems very comfortable in them—he can move freely and doesn’t try to chew them. However, the big downside is durability. These rip very easily. Despite not being worn daily and no chewing, we’re already down to 1 out of 3 sweaters, and they were just a Christmas present! If you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable sweater for mild weather, these are a good option. Just don’t expect them to hold up for long. ... show more
