The good news is that this go-kart does work. I got it for my son for Christmas, even after having read the reviews, so I knew there might be some work involved. Since then (approximately one year later) we've had to fix many problems, and the go-kart has only been running for about three months out of the year we've owned it. The go kart would go forward even when you weren't holding the gas. This started on day 1. Both chains broke and had to be replaced. The brakes quit working and had to be taken apart (the fluid had leaked out somewhere) and refilled. The brake calipers failed and had to be replaced. The seatbelt does not buckle in the rider unless you drill new holes and basically reinstall it yourself. The engine would cut out completely while going over bumps. The steering knuckle broke and had to be replaced. The tire bearings failed and had to be replaced. And just today the gasket on the engine started leaking oil. This was after finishing the repairs on the tire bearings yesterday and my son riding for perhaps three hours. All of these things have happened in just one year with average riding time for about three months of that time. All the rest of the time it has been in the garage waiting on repair. We live on acreage, so it could be ridden for a couple of hours a day when the weather is nice, but since Christmas basically starts our wet months, there are only 20-30 hours of ride time on the go kart right now, and probably an equal amount of hours of repair (and several hundred dollars) in that time as well. This go kart is not well made, but it's also not super expensive (as go karts go) so if you buy it, be prepared to fix it.

This was easy to assemble and started right up with the 1st pull. Runs great. I especially like all the adjustments that can be made. The seat has about a five inch adjustment range and the seat belts can be adjusted for just about any size. I am impressed. This something my grandchildren can enjoy now and for at least 5 inches of growth. Very well built. And the way it was crated insured that there was no way for it to get damaged.

The media could not be loaded. We received our Go Kart last week. The shipping and packaging was superior. Assembling the roll bar was a significant struggle. We had to re-drill the holes so that it would fit. Directions are sub-par as well. The seatbelt doesn't fit a child. It is large and wouldn't fit someone that was 5'5" and 125 lbs. The belt drags on the road and won't stay on the kids shoulders. It took 4-5 hours to get it going. It still doesn't sound right. When the kids step on the gas, if you don't push it from behind, it stalls. See video above. My suggestion, if you don't want to have to tinker with your Go Kart, this is not the product for you. I have been trying to find a way to reach out to the company, but have yet to be successful. If anyone has there phone number, we would greatly appreciate it!

The media could not be loaded. My kids (11, 9 and 6) were so excited when they got this for Christmas, they had 2 days of fun before the clutch went out. The seat belt is way too big for kids. My oldest is 11 and it was too big on her even after adjusting it to the smallest size.

I waited to write this review because I wanted to use it a few times to give agood review. What I think is that is a really good go kart easy to start I was not sure which one to buy gas or electric I bought the gasoline one tank last along time I think I made the right decision and goes pretty fast on grass, sandy terrain and small hills carrying me I'm 170 pounds so it doesn't have any problem with my 8 year old.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old. Rode once and the clutch went out, contacted customer service and they mailed a new clutch the same day. So far so good. Just to follow up, customer service sent the wrong clutch on four different occasions even after I sent them a picture of the clutch I needed now they are telling me that the correct clutch is no longer available. Purchased on Nov. 20th of 2020 by the time I realized this cart was a complete waste of money the 60 day return policy had passed now I'm stuck with a go cart that wont run because of bad clutch.
