From the top, they look like your typical surfer-dude flip flops. Underneath, they’re engineered with FitFlop cushion™ air-foam tech, with impact pillows at high pressure areas, for non-stop comfort. Created in the UK, over a two-year collaboration between former Bliss spa-entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore, Biomechanist Dr. David Cook and a team of untiring footwear engineers, FitFlops were initially designed to help modern women squeeze a little more exercise into their increasingly hectic schedules."I thought, how amazing if I could invent something that would help fight the onset of cellulite while I'm walking to the office," says Kilgore. "I work. I have kids. I have a husband. And the likelihood of me seeing the inside of a gym in the next ten years is slim to none. That said, I'd obviously prefer to go with slim." Kilgore found Dr. Cook at The Centre for Human Performance at London's LSBU, where he envisioned injecting the patent- pending 'microwobbleboard' technology into the midsole of the function-forward flip flop. Slightly destabilizing, FitFlops feature three distinct densities of EVA foam in a single-fused underfoot piece, to challenge your muscles more every time you step - to deliver a workout while you walk.

I've been buying FitFlop since they became available in the US. That's been since 2008! I had a broken ankle that was frozen and I came across the studies that said their shoes would help. At first they were just flip flops, the original sandal with the tall sole. They were not great in cold months to be sure. But I wore them inside around the house and my ankle began to unfreeze. Soon I could *run* 5Ks again! I always kept a pair in the car to change into. They eventually expanded their line to clogs and boots so of course I had to get some! I now have tennis shoes, dress shoes, low flats and all of them are fabulous! I have bone on bone in both of my knees now plus back problems and yet the shoes are the only thing I can wear without pain in all these places. I absolutely love them so when I see a good deal on them, I jump at the opportunity to buy them. These are my new indoor shoes and my older pair of FitFlop sandals will graduate to grocery store shoes. I love them so much that I have seven different pairs! They work with everything! Bought these for my wife as a comfortable and stylish alternative to flip flops with zero support or cushioning. She also runs a lot and needs something soft to recover in. Color is great. These are nice flip-flops. They are soft and comfortable and the quality is good. They would hold up for a long time. I would suggest ordering a size up because I ordered true to size and they were just a tad small. I ended up returning them because of this and haven't ordered another pair yet but I am planning on ordering another pair in a larger size because of the comfort. ... show more

Fitflop is great if you have foot problems. My arches have fallen a bit as I age and this brand is one of reasons I can still wear flip flops. They're supportive and comfortable, but also stylish. They have just the right amount of shimmer and I love the light blue and green color.

These sandals are attractive and should be comfortable. However the pair I received are definitely not comfortable. The toe stem is crocked and makes the top strap dig into the top of the foot and forces your heel to slip off of the sandal. But they are cute!!! 🥺🥺
