  • Great motivator and continuance of s program like Noom.
Color: White
I like the slim fit, heartrate, data easily transferred to look at on phone or a bigger more in depth view on your computer, counts steps accurate enough. I like the challenge of high step numbers for most of the week. This is my first activity moniter of any count, and bought to keep motivation after using Noom for 4 months and losing the weight I wanted to lose. So far, so good. Wore it for a couple weeks , some nights,. Then off and on. I've gone days without wearing it and then will wear it for days. I got it somewhat on sale through Amazon and paid a little more for the white and black Panda, but I was fine with that. The charging lasts for days. I am a pretty frugal spender so I felt a little frivolous buying something not completely necessary, but if it keeps me at the weight I want to be, then I deal with needing a motivator, or at least having success with using one. And it is not the Fitbit, but the rehabilitated eating skills i learned in the 4 month Noom program, very worth it, because the weight will melt off quick if you stick to program., without extra exercise, which will increase when your body feels better with less weight. Because of my reformed habits and smaller appetite I now use Fitbit for a fun look at how much i have been active, and you could check heartrate when exercising to get in the burn zone. FITBIT was a one time purchase, and can do all the things Noom did, especially counting your calories and all the data you want to fool with. I suggest to people wanting to lose weight to try using an activity tracker possibly along with the NOOM program. Both have been very worth the money and I am very happy 18 lbs lighter. You will get over the shock of the restricted calories within 36 hours and can eat anything, just less of it, or structured days eating lightt and then anything for dinner. Your stomach shrinks when it goes without extra for a few days. And then will be satified with a healthy portion. It doesn't take long. Having good filling foods on hand and losing the bun and extra breads and sugars are sure ways to success. Making vege soup or soupbeans and eating on that for days is a good idea. These programs are working for a lot of people with any amount to lose. ... show more

  • Exceeded expectations!
Color: White
I bought this because I needed something that was going to track my heart rate during an intense kickboxing workout I started, but it does so much more than that! I'm not entirely sure how accurate the heart rate is, but it appears to be pretty consistent with when I check my own pulse. It also tracks steps, which are fairly accurate. I would say margin of error is about 2-5%. I'm super happy with the Fitbit and am buying it as a gift for my health-conscious friends!! I also am not someone who likes the apple watches or smart watches because it's too bulky and I dont want to be "connected" to my phone 24/7, but I *really* like this little gadget! Pros: -Looks stylish (I have the white and black and it looks great with my street clothes) -Tracks heart rate, steps, activity time, etc. pretty accurately -The mobile app tracks sleep and gives sleep scores, which helped me understand that the amount of calories/macros I'm eating affects my sleep patterns and now I can adjust accordingly -The mobile app automatically connects with the Fitbit to show base rate calories burned based on your height/weight/body fat %. -The mobile app allows me to track my calorie intake and shows macro counts and compares everything to calories in vs. calories expended. I find this app to be more accurate nutritionally than myfitnesspal and other apps I've used -quick charge, long battery. I've had it for a week and just had to charge it now -Option for dominant and non-dominant arm settings. Depending on which arm you prefer it on, it will adjust the readings based on that arm. -Great value for the price -shows time automatically when you turn your arm, and view stats by touching the screen Cons: -the band does dig into your arm to track heart rate properly. This can be very uncomfortable during sleep and workouts. I kick box, so under the glove it's pretty uncomfortable. I was pretty bruised the first few days using it but I'm used to it now and it's ok -I dont like the fact that it's connected to my phone messages and calls because I can't reply back directly from it... and also I dont always *need to know* when I get a text or call. ... show more

  • I love!
Color: White
I love this tracker! This is my first introduction into the Fitbit family, as I have tried Misfit Flash and Misfit Shine, but so far this one is my favorite. Things I like: -Simple user interface. I like that it’s simple to use and navigate through the Fitbit. -Different watch faces -The heart rate feature -The app is great! Things I don’t like: -The charger is very short. Of course eventually 3rd party accessories are probably going to come out, so I’ll probably change out the charger, as well as the band eventually. Update: May 31, 2019. I still love this tracker. I have found a few tips and tricks to make this Fitbit a little more convenient. 1. I bought a longer charge cable. It’s much better than the one that came with it. 2. If you hold down the button on the side for a few seconds, it brings up the battery percentage. That’s really helpful. You can also swipe down and turn notifications and screen wake off/on, which turning them both off conserves the battery. 3. I don’t wear in the shower or swimming. I know that it’s supposed to be waterproof, but I don’t like to chance it. 4. Every time I take a shower, I put it on the charger. 5. Syncing issues: close the app, and then turn your Bluetooth off. Then turn your Bluetooth back on, wait for the Fitbit to reconnect, then open the Fitbit app and it should sync immediately. ... show more
