This Fitbit Charge 6 Tracker is my first experience with a fitness tracker other than my phone. I am surprised at how much I like it. As silly as it sounds, I think it helps motivate me. I am hooked on the feedback -- how many steps have I taken, what is my heartbeat, how many times did I exercise this week, etc? I am completely obsessed with the sleep data. It is fascinating and rather vindicating to see how many minutes I am awake during the night and how much REM, light, and deep sleep I get. It was easy to set up. I included the functionality that enables seeing my phone notifications. I like seeing that with a quick flip of the wrist, saving me from pulling out my phone when it isn't necessary. It is more comfortable than I expected. As a result, I wear it pretty much all of the time except when I shower or the couple times a week that I charge it. I have never let the battery get below 40%, so charging two times a week might be more than it necessary. Overall, I think it was worth the purchase. ... show more

    • You’re better off counting steps in your head

Extremely inaccurate- didn’t realize how bad it was until I cross checked with my Apple Watch and my fiancé’s watch. We walk 1 mile 1 direction every other day to start off our strength training- it was intentionally mapped out that way yet on the Fitbit, even with live tracking, it always reflects .45 miles. I also tested on the treadmill as I walk 5 miles everyday in one setting, it is extremely inaccurate and says consistently I walk 3 miles. There’s limited food tracking unless you use the standard shopping places in there, the battery life is the only plus. 9/10 the other monitoring for heart, activity, steps, others are inaccurate and will tell you it’s unlikely to give you proper data. Atleast it’s transparent but at the same time… what’s the point of it’s inaccurate …? Don’t waste your money! ... show more
