Honestly, I am not totally sure how to rate this band. I kinda wish I could give it 3.5 stars. So here goes... The band is super soft and light weight. I really really really like this because I find the plasticy bands to be heavy and I notice them more. This one doesn't snag my clothing and doesn't bang on my laptop while I type. With my old fitbit, I felt like I had to take off the fitbit and band while typing because they scratched my laptop. The band secures with Velcro. Nowhere in the description does it say this. So far I have worn it for about a week and everything is all good, but I don't know how well the Velcro will hold up. All in all, a comfortable band. ... show more

    • Velcro Strap Wears Out Quickly
I love the weight and feel of this Fitbit band. The only problem is that the Velcro wears out quickly, I've only had it since the beginning of January and will have to purchase another strap because the Velcro is worn out already.

    • Best for small wrists
I have very small wrists and the Fitbit hook and loop band is the only one I've found that fits well. I tried a couple other brand adjustable or elastic bands, but they were bulky and/or looked very cheap/tacky. I have two of these bands so I can swap them out and wash them periodically. So far, they are holding up well (I've had one for a year or so and the other for a few months). I put the band in a small laundry bag and wash it in the machine. Then let it air dry. Wait wasn't the correct charge 5 hook and loop band so I had to put some tape to secure it where it doesn't fall off because I was trying to order the large or extra large charge 5 band and you all sent me a small band but it's OK because I'm going to have to buy one from FITBIT directly because you all couldn't do anything about it ! ... show more

I’m keeping this because there aren’t many choices in straps for the new Charge 5, but you would think Fitbit could come up with something a little nicer. It’s comfortable, but not attractive and the end picks up pieces of lint. I’m looking forward to more strap choices in the future. Update: Returning this strap. The end clips work, but the hook and loop fasteners aren’t strong enough to keep it on during sleep. ... show more

    • Stays put!! No skin irritation!
Like many others, I was getting skin irritation from the silicone band that came with my Fitbit Charge 5. I went to the Fitbit site, but by time they added shipping I could get the band on Amazon cheaper and faster. I've had ZERO problems with the Velcro staying fastened and I wear my Fitbit all the time - during exercise, during yardwork. Now if I could get the blue I'd be even happier!! ... show more

    • Could be better
This band had potential to be so much better. the Pros are that Its comfortable and fits well. My skin reacts to the silicone so this was one of my few reasonable options. The Cons however... The quality of the velcro is pretty cheap, and comes undone pretty easily when brand new, which kind of defeats the purpose of the band. At slightest introduction of moisture (sweat or water), the velcro becomes insecure. This band has fallen off my wrist numerous times while just walking, let alone doing any sort of strenuous physical activity. Within 2 months, The fabric is separating from itself, and now at 8 months its just sad. It gets 2 stars only because of the initial comfort and convenience, otherwise it would get 0 stars. Fitbit also could have added clasp colors that match the gold watch, but that seems to have escaped them. ... show more
