I love Fitbits- have had two now and like the functionality of the app. I didn’t use mine for texting but was happy with the heart rate monitoring and step counting. However, after about 8 months, the plastic pegs that hold the bands on snapped off. This is the second time it has happened. First time, I bought the Fitbit at Costco and they gave me a full refund. I decided to take a leap of faith and order the same one here on Amazon (Costco was out of this version) and I liked how slender it was. Figured it was a fluke the first time, but it happened again. I contacted Fitbit customer service through the Fitbit app, and they replaced the part with a new watch face in a matter of a couple of days.     • Form factor (rectangular) and e-paper display. PLEASE extend the product life of this model!!
The Fitbit Charge series is a favorite among fitness watches. Why? It's the form factor (shape). For me and other repeat buyers, a round shape is "old timey." A second powerful reason is that many of us LIKE the e-paper display - crisp white or gray-scale characters create a uniquely attractive presentation. Dense color displays are "eye candy" and a turn-off to many. It's unfortunate that it appears the Charge 4 is the last of the e-paper displays - a shame and, to me, a marketing decision which I hope Fitbit's parent company reconsiders. df ... show more

    • I recieved a broken/used item.
I bought a Fitbit Charge 4 brand new from Amazon, but what arrived was clearly a used and broken item. It wouldn’t charge or connect to the Fitbit app, making it completely useless. This was a frustrating waste of my time and energy. Be cautious when purchasing this product from Amazon—you might end up with a scam. A refund does not reimburse me for my wasted time. ... show more

I had a fitbit charge 4 previously and some of the features on this one are different. Need to review the Users Manual to become more familiar. I ordered this particular Fitbit because i have many accessory bands for it and these bands ate useless for any other tracker.

I have had 2 previous Charge 4 fitbits and liked them. They didn't always count the steps you did. This one counts each of your steps precisely. This is the best one I have had.

    • Charge 4 stopped working after getting it wet.
As a long-time enthusiast of Fitbit products, I have always appreciated the quality and functionality they offer. However, I regret to express my disappointment with the Charge 4 model. After my previous Charge 4, which served me well for three years, unfortunately broke, I promptly ordered a replacement. To my dismay, the new device ceased functioning the very next day after I swam laps in my pool. Following this, Amazon kindly facilitated a replacement, which arrived the subsequent day. Regrettably, this second unit encountered the same issue, failing to operate after its first exposure to water during swimming. This experience has left me perplexed, as my original Fitbit never exhibited such problems. I am eager to understand why both replacements have encountered the same issue. Consequently, I have decided to refrain from exposing this device to water, which is why I liked the Charge 4 in the first place. ... show more
