After getting the correct size, I could not be happier. I was going by the size chart and went with the XL due to my chest being a 44-ish. When I put it on it was definitely too big. I returned the 2 I had ordered and exchanged them for L and they fit PERFECT. A little stretch is nice and the colors(both dark blue and the white) look sharp and crisp. The weather can change 5 different ways in one day here in TN so this jacket will cover most situations. The fabric is lightweight but has fome "ooph" to it and feels solid on my body. Again just for reference, I am a stockier build.... 5'5" 44ish chest, 34 waist, long torso. Large fits perfect, BUT the vest might be too long if you have long legs and a shorter torso. I am about to order 2 more colors.

I got this vest for the pockets, light weight, and water repellent feature. I wore it on a trip to Ireland and England. Combined with a light rain jacket doubling as a windbreaker it performed very well. It even shed a cup of tea that I managed to dump on myself, with no stain. The interior pockets were very useful and reachable. The large inside pocket was not closed at the bottom when I got it, I assumed it was a pocket, so I carefully applied a thin bead of flexible waterproof adhesive like E**** or Shoe G**p. I placed it inside down on wax paper with a weight on top until dry. Held up fine, still going strong.

I have been looking for a durable outdoorsy vest to wear for quite some time. I came across this particular vest and decided to give it a try as it was a very affordable price. I am highly satisfied with the quality and the look and feel of the materials. It seems to have some sort of Gore-Tex on the outside, so that water doesn't stain but instead beads up and you can just wipe it off. it has a vertical zipper pocket up on the chest and two zipper pockets down by your hands. The inside is lined and very soft. All of the zippers are quality and it looks nice win worn. I will definitely buy another one of these in the future. Highly recommended.
