Not like the one pictured!!!! Looks like a cheap import/knock-off. The markings are in white on pink. The Fiskars logo does not look right. I use the 3x18 ruler and the lines and visibility is much crisper than this one. Had I known I would have ordered another 3x18 ruler instead.

  • You will not receive the item pictured.
The ruler I received is almost impossible to use. The measurement lines are pink with thick white borders all the way around them. This border makes the pink lines essentially useless, removing the possibility of using this ruler for—you know—actual measuring. Including that, here are the features that are immediately, recognizably different from the advertised ruler: -Numbers and measuring lines are all pink, not red and black. -Numbers and lines are all surrounded by a thick white border. -The hole above the logo at the top of the ruler is a single, obviously drilled, 1/4” circle, not a 1&1/2” triangle. -The numbers for 30, 45 and 60 degree angles are surrounded by a white, filled in box, not a red circle. -The depicted board says made in China, the received ruler does not say where it was made. ... show more

  • not to mention the thing is slick as snot and slips like crazy. I cut it up with a Dremel ...
You don't get the ruler pictured. You get something with the purple lines outlined in thick white--why, I don't know. It's stamped Fiskars, but it's difficult to measure cuts with precision by looking at some opaque line that's already 1/8 inch thick, not to mention the thing is slick as snot and slips like crazy. I cut it up with a Dremel tool for a fussy cut template for my mother or it would have been completely useless. ... show more

  • Not the ruler in the picture
Not the same ruler that is in the picture. The one I wanted had thin black lines fat not pink lines! The fat pink lines are harder to read the one in the picture is like what I have with thin black lines. Disappointed😕

  • Nicks and Divots Over Time
I thought this ruler was a good value. The product was as advertised and lasted a long time. I say 'a long time' and not forever, despite the 'Lifetime Warranty.' I used this with a rotary cutter and added a suction-cup handle to it for cutting fabric. Worked great, but after several months the rotary blade made little 'micro-cuts' into the plastic of the ruler. Over time these cuts started to catch the rotary blade, which not only chipped out even bigger divots, but really started to shorten the life of those expensive rotary blades. At first I thought the blades were just getting dull because I was cutting upholstery grade fabric, but then I realized that the fault was with the chinks in the ruler itself. I think this ruler is a good value, but if it's advertised with a 'Lifetime Warranty,' I'm not sure I should have to count on buying a new one every six months to preserve the sharpness of my rotary cutter blades. ... show more

  • Not the Ruler shown for this item
This is not the ruler shown in the listing and not the ruler I was hoping to get. Some question whether this pink ruler we received is even a Fiskar ruler, it is. I have seen them stores and had I wanted this particular ruler, I would have bought it in the store, could have gotten it cheaper. What I wanted was the black lines as shown in the photo of this item. I haven't decided if I will keep this one or not, but probably won't. I am still on the hunt for one with black lines. Of all the 6x24 rulers I've had over the years I like the Fiskar rulers the best because the painted lines seem to last longer on their rulers then others I have used. So hopefully I can find a Fiskar with black lines and orange numbers like my 3x18 Fiskar ruler. ... show more

  • Do you not like Fisker new ruler design
I have used this brand this style for years in years. Mine was so brittle that it cracked many times. I ordered one this one from Amazon, then found one at Joann fabrics. The one at Joannes was cheaper because of sale but the same. The biggest problem with this new Layout is it is very difficult to see the precise line to many colors, thick lines. However it is not the seller it is Fisker the company that produces the rulers. So to the seller sorry for the three stars, ... show more

  • The painted lines disappear.
I have had this ruler for a month now and while I liked it at first the paint is already coming off I have two other brands of rulers that I use more and the paint isn’t coming off of them so I’m not sure why this one is coming off. I wouldn’t recommend this product.
