Fiskars are the gold standard of tools these days. I broke a shovel after trying to pry out a root - and they sent a new one - only wanted a picture. The only thing still broken is my pride when my wife saw me flip backwards. I am so happy with all their tools i wouldnt settle for any others. I used this rake and am sure it is quality. Some Fiskars tools are just okay but there are a few that are indeed better than the standard and this is one. Solid and durable (feeling so far). Yet lightweight. Rake is a bit on the heavy side but it is really well built and what I was looking for the intended task of winter use. I was having the wood handles ones break off at the head. This one is well reinforced.

    • Made for heavy moving
I got this take to clear up leaves in my garden and it’s much to heavy for that and felt unbalanced when I was moving that lightweight of a material (leaves and bark chips) however when I needed to move gravel and dirt I was pleasantly surprised at how EASY it made those jobs. I noted that when I was moving heavier material the rake felt perfectly balanced; no strain on my shoulders, arms, or back and I was able to get the job done easily. The rake feels sturdy and balanced. Definitely for spreading rather than gathering; for gathering leaves or debris get the leaf rake...that’s what I did. ... show more
