If you do a lot of "fussy cutting" for art, card making or hobby uses, you will LOVE these sissors! Easy to hold, VERY ergonomic and excellent ability to do VERY precise cutting! Obviously not intended for cutting big pieces of paper as they are only about 5 inches over all, but for small pieces that require accurate cutting close to edges, these are amazing! They cut wonderfully and good for my hand where they sprang opened and close well opened by themselves and they stay sharp for quite a while what I didn't like was after a bit the locking mechanism seem to slide down and lock it while I was in the process of trying to cut the fabric the scissors would lock and now they have a lifetime warranty so we shall see what happens because they do not want to cut anymore I bought their scissor sharpener thingy and that does not seem to help so with the lifetime warranty I'm hoping maybe I'll get some new ones I love fiskers though definitely recommend fiskers scissors ✂️ ... show more

These are SO GOOD! The spring isn’t so tough that they’re hard to use but strong enough to give it a really smooth feeling. The only thing I could consider complaining about is how sharp the tip is, but I’m sure I can find something to use as a cover for it. I’ve only used it on paper and light cardboard so far but it cuts like a dream, not to mention it’s easy to take apart if it needs to be sharpened. ... show more

I have Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) disease and am loosing the strength in my hands. Trying to use regular scissors was becoming impossible because I couldn't use my thumb to open the scissors after a cut. These scissors spring open after you squeeze which helps you use less muscle to perform the cutting process allowing you to cut longer than you would be able to if you had to perform both motions (open and squeeze). I do not regret this purchase in the least bit. Worth every penny. Cutting things with regular scissors, hurts my hands, a lot, but the spring action on these and the size, really makes a huge difference. Considering getting a second pair.
