My son is the fisherman in my family and is excited to make use of these tools at the end of the month. They are very well made and sturdy. The pliers line up with precision. They are comfortable to hold. The holes in the handle will make it easier to hold when they are wet. There are six functions to the pliers, including crimping and line cutting. The set has a lip grip too. All the metal is resistant to corrosion, which is a big plus when ocean fishing, as my son usually does. The pliers have a tight fitting case to keep them from getting damaged. Both pieces have clips, cords, and lanyards to prevent them from falling and getting lost. Overall, this a nice all in one set for someone who enjoys fishing.

I bought these for my 12 year old son who would fish everyday if he could. These fishing pliers are heavy duty and rust proof. It does come with a very nice nylon case with a rope with a hook so you can attach it so you do not leave them behind. The pliers are about 7" long. It has a hook removal, cuts line and it can split rings. It does have crimping slots on it as well.

For the price of 19.99, it is decent pliers, painted in white, looks nice, and have quite a few different functionalities. It can cut mono or braid lines very easily and grab the fish or hook easily. the little latch works well and be open/close with one finger. The wire comes with it is cheap made, which probably not gonna last. My main complaint is the pliers itself is very thin, which makes your hand painful when grabbing the pliers really hard to handle big fish.

Very light weight with many features to make your fishing easier. Comes with a holster and lanyard, so you can have it your way. It is slightly smaller than many other fishing pliers that I have seen, and may not be good for those with large hands.

For the price ($19.99 at the time of this review) these are decent fishing pliers. With the skeletonized handles, they are light, but strong. I've had no problems with the jaws bending when I try to twist out a hook. The cutters easily cut through braid, although there are gaps on either side of the cutters, so you have to be careful to make sure the line lines up with the cutters. The latch works well. It is easy to flick it open or closed with your thumb. The sheath is basic and simple, but it gets the job done. The pliers are painted white. It will be interesting to see how long that white coating lasts.
