We really like this little fishing net! I have three teenage boys who love to fish and have a nearby pond that they ride their dirt bikes and four wheelers to fish at. We have gotten them the backpack style tackleboxes to make it easier on the two that ride dirt bikes and usually the one who rides the four wheeler takes the extra gear like the fishing net. This is a great solution for when they want to fish but no one is taking a four wheeler. My dirt bike riders can just put this fishing net in one of the pockets of the tackle bag. It's also nice for them to have a second net in case they are across the pond from each other so they don't lose the "big one". This net is nice and small when folded but big enough to get under a fish and get it to shore or into the boat. I've attached a video of how simple it is to lock it in place and disengage to fold it back down. The handle is comfortable, and the aluminum is lightweight but sturdy and durable. I love that there are no easy-to-break plastic pieces. The netting is a finer mesh so you could even scoop minnows with it if you find a school and get yourself some free bait. This is a unique fishing net because it collapses when stored. There is a heavy duty mechanism on the shaft that secures the frame of the net. When it’s stored simply release the arms by sliding the lever and the net folds onto itself. No plastic parts, it’s made of metal and is very strong. A great design and space saver.
