I recently used this net on a fly-fishing trip. I found a few features that I like. First, it's not heavy, the frame and net is light and I didn't feel tired carrying it. Secondly, the extendable arm came in handy. I didn't wear a wader and was standing on the shore, the extendable handle really helped reaching into the water. lastly, the net is deep enough that fish is unlikely to jump out of my net. Worked well for the trip and didn't have any issues. For the Price can't complaint.

I love the compact size, able to easily carry it with me. As well as the net loop size, can hold a decent size fish if need be. Once opened up you can extend the arm so if you need to reach a few feet, you can easily get the fish. Our fishing season will be starting in a few weeks and planning on using this off of my SUP board when I fish the inlet. Has a rope loop on the end of it for your wrist so you don't have to worry about dropping it as you try to get that linker out.

I love everything about this net - nice and compact for traveling, ability to use it extended or not, the plastic connectors feel solid (albeit still plastic) the coating on the net feels nice and seems like it will help it last longer/be more durable, and the coated aluminum frame looks nice. Being able to fold it up means that I’m less likely to get it tangled with other stuff while traveling, too, not to mention easier to pack. This didn’t come with any instructions, so when I got it I had to go back to the product page on Amazon to figure out how to fold the handle back up, but that wasn’t a big deal (and, if I’m being honest, I like that I don’t have extra paper to recycle). It’s winter in Wisconsin so have been able to actually pull in any fish out of the lake, just snagging some odds & ends around the house, but it feels good and sturdy and I’m looking forward to taking it on my hunting/fishing trip this summer.

We love to fish on the river near our house, and this fishing net is perfect. It is large and well-made. We like that it folds up easily, so it is easy to store and pack. It also extends to a longer length. I think it is going to be just what we need.

I was looking for a folding net for my kayak. Size and weight is paramount when kayak fishing the less room your gear takes up the better. The Tnqhnq fishing net is nicely made and the folding latch is of good quality. The net itself is rubber coated and nice small mesh. It has a foam rubber handle. With good grip. The description says it was for freshwater and saltwater but the net is not large enough for a lot of saltwater species. Fits in the hatch nicely but will probably only get used when I am freshwater fishing.

I got a telescoping fish net. Handle appears to be aluminum, with aluminum rim. Joints from one piece to the other are thick plastic, while net itself is a rubber/plastic type of material. Overall, first impressions the net looks really nice for the cost. I like that it folds all up and fits in my fishing pack. Once unfolded, telescoping feature extends the handle to about 3’ if needed, or can be kept as a shorter handle. Net is decently deep for fish. Since it’s fairly light weight, I don’t think metal tubing could handle monsters, but I would feel confident about fish 6 lbs and under. I haven’t had opportunity to go fishing yet due to winter, but look forward to trying this net out for trout fishing.

This is a great addition to my new (freshwater) fishing equipment. I really appreciate the way the pole retracts and then folds across the net for carrying. When extended, it is sufficient length for landing your catch. It is available in 3 colors; I happen to like the red. The price is great considering the design and functionality.
