This is my second silk pillowcase purchase, as I want to rotate pillowcases when one is being soaked and later hand-washed (details below). My first purchase was a 22 momme silk pillowcase from another reputable company and seller on Amazon, Colorado Home Co. I inquired with Fishers Finery customer service on Amazon and they quickly responded with a friendly reply. This, my second silk pillowcase purchase on Amazon, was the 25 momme, white (undyed), pillowcase from Fishers Finery. This product is truly authentic, 100% silk. The quality and softness are superb. The packaging for this item is a very pleasant, big & stiff square, dark blue colored paperboard. If you buy their 30 momme silk pillowcase it comes in an even nicer packaging, a dark black, cardboard box with their company signature on top. Note, generally speaking, the nicer the packaging, the more you pay for the silk pillowcase product-- in fact, it can increase the price of the product by $15 to $20 approximately when you purchase a silk pillowcase that comes in a nice gift box. TIP on HOW TO WASH this item: Have a couple of silk pillowcases so you can rotate them when one is being washed as I describe here: a. Do not machine wash or machine dry. b. If there are any stains, use Ecover Stain Remover liquid (6.8 oz), available on Amazon and at grocery stores like Natural Grocers. Simply thoroughly spot dab the Ecover liquid stain remover on all stains. I had some blood stains on my other silk pillowcase (from Colorado Home Co.) due to a scab that broke on my head. I was worried the blood stain would not come out. I soaked the Ecover liquid stain remover on the pillowcase for 24hrs. c. Then, fill a bucket full of cool to warm water and a liquid detergent for delicate items (made for wool or silk). Not marketed as a detergent in this case, but I used Soapnut shampoo (unscented) soap that I purchased from an Amazon seller called Nature Sustained. Any Soapnut shampoo, body wash, or detergent (all are sold online or in some health food stores), are basically all the same and can be interchanged to cleanse your body, hair, or fabric (clothing or bedding). 100% pure Soapnut shampoo/liquid soap is very gentle but effective, as well as chemical free and very environmentally friendly. For some reason, as of 10/2022, it is very hard to find 100% pure Soapnut shampoo/soap (containing only Soapnut liquid and natural preservative) on Amazon or online. d. I then placed the silk pillowcase in the bucket of water, and I gently hand washed for about a minute. Then I let it soak for 24 hours. After 24 hours, I hand washed again for about a minute. Then I emptied the bucket of water and filled with clean water and rinsed the pillowcase in this manner. I then hung the silk pillowcase to dry over a wooden rack. You may also lay it flat to dry on a towel on a counter. The result? All the blood stains came out and there were no wrinkles (of course pillowcase was not as flat looking as when new). RE: Temperature Regulation-- I purchased this item as my body runs hot and thus, I also sleep hot. So, I needed a temperature regulating fabric in order to sleep better. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase does not cure all one's sleeping hot woes. However, it certainly was palpable in that the silk pillowcase did indeed reduce warmth. I cannot afford silk sheets at the moment, but having at least a silk pillowcase is the most important in order to reduce heat in the head area. A much less expensive (less than half the price), but very effective alternative to silk sheets, in order to sleep cooler, is 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets. So, I purchased this on Amazon: "Pure Parima Luxury 100% CEA Certified Egyptian Cotton Sheet Bed Set | Extra-Long Staple | Cool, Breathable, Ultra Comfort | Double Hem-Stitched | Flat, Fitted, and 2 Pillow Cases". These sheets did the trick and I sleep cooler. Another alternative is "Everhome Egyptian Cotton 700-Thread-Count sheet" available at your local and online bed and bath store. I am very pleased with this purchase and I can't wait to buy another 100% pure silk pillowcase from Fishers Finery. This item is "Practical Perry" approved. ; )

Wow, if you’re looking for silk pillowcases, Fisher’s Finery Pure Mulberry Silk Pillowcases are absolutely the ones to get! While they’re a bit pricey, they’re worth every penny. The pillowcases feel incredible—soft, silky, and cool against my skin. They also wash beautifully, and I love that they include a protective mesh bag to keep them in perfect condition during the wash cycle. These pillowcases make my bed look and feel like a luxury hotel setup. I only wish the company made matching silk sheets, as I’d love to complete the look! I'd definitely like to experience more of these pillowcases in different colors. Truly a high-end, gorgeous addition to any bedroom!

This pillowcase is so soft and well made and the packaging was amazing. I sleep on a U-shaped long double body pillow with my head in the curved part of the “U”. I’m going to open the sewn end of the pillow and restitch it, and slip it on the pillow to go where my head rests. Can’t wait to have this luxurious silk on my face and hair. A really quality product and company.

I’ve had it for right at a year, it’s washed well and feels great but putting the pillow in tonight, it ripped so fast along the seam. I tend to sleep hot and the pillowcase does help keep my face cool. It’s a beautiful silk. Time to buy another.

So, I've gone down the rabbit hole at this stage with buying silk pillowcases (because I am 1. Lazy, 2. Forgetful, 3. Bad at handwashing more than once a week). Got this one because it was about the same price as my previous favorite, but white! Clean! Maybe better? Anyway, I've read that 25 momme is supposed to be the desirable range, which this is. Came in a very official little gift box with a catalog of their other offerings and a wash bag (points for presentation). This is, so far, the most accurate to what I thought silk was supposed to feel and wash like. My skin seems to respond the best to it (no breakouts, no wrinkles from sleeping on my side), it's not particularly slippery like some of the blends end up being, no noticeable off-gassing of any scent, and NO ZIPPER. It feels very posh to have the sewn fold end to keep the pillow secure. Fits my weird cervicogenic foam pillow perfectly with the queen size. Ordered a second one so I can continue my habits.

Exquisite craftsmanship! High quality Oeko-Tex “green” certified 100% pure Mulberry silk pillowcase. Side envelope end flap keeps the pillowcase securely on the pillow. I was worried about slipperiness, but it is perfect and so soft and comfortable. I can tell my hair is a lot less messed up in the morning. Worth the price! Should have splurged much sooner!

Fishers Finery is the softest, most beautiful pillowcase on the market. Definitely helps relieve face wrinkles that ordinary cases leave and keeps hair from tangling up as you sleep. Their Customer Service is absolutely outstanding. I have bought over ten of these pillowcases over the years and love giving them as gifts. They are available in many different colors.
