This toy is really cute and nicely made for the price point. While my child wasn’t super engaged with it for long periods, it’s still a sweet and simple toy that encourages imaginative play. One feature I really like is that the caddy turns over and you can store all the pieces inside, which is super convenient and helps keep everything together. One small improvement I’d love to see is having different shaped slots for the flowers. All the slots are the same, and adding different shapes could make it a bit more engaging and educational. Although the age on the toy says 3+, I think this is likely more fun for younger toddlers. I gifted this set to my parents who love gardening and tending to their backyard, and also watch my daughter at least 3 days a week. This garden caddy set is adorable and very well made. The wooden pieces feel solid and safe for little hands while still being lightweight enough for kids to play with easily. My child loves pretending to plant and water the little veggies and flowers, and the tools make it feel like real gardening. The colors are bright and cheerful and everything fits nicely into the caddy for easy cleanup. It has been a wonderful toy for imaginative play and keeps my preschooler engaged. My 17 month old daughter loves it! The side with the slots is a little advanced for her but I think when she gets closer to 2 so will be able to figure that part out. Right now she enjoys taking the flowers out and putting them in the tool kit and walking around with it. She moves around the room, taking them out and putting them back in. It’s not the most engaging toy for long periods of time but it’s a sweet toy that could have other uses down the road. It’s also very well made. The seed box is the only thing that didn’t last more than a minute. It was cardboard and naturally she smashed and ripped that up immediately.
