I can't believe that I didn't read one review about the wind with outdoor curtains! It's been a 3 week disaster. I have returned everything and am starting over with hopefully a tall gate door in the main area I need privacy on my deck. I live near the beach so forget it with the wind!!! It started during the install when the ties unravelled. Then I purchased a much stronger tie. These curtains appear to be water proof. However, I will debate wind proof or sturdy because when they hit the rails, window or side of house the polyester fabric starts fraying. Depending on which way the wind blew the curtains would rise up so high negating my privacy which was only reason I purchased. When it banged on my window it was going to rip my screen eventually.Also, the 3 screws loosened on the rod brackets and rod dropped off several times and I had to get back on a tall ladder to fix. The other night a friend was sitting on deck with me and she kept having to shoo the curtain away with her hand! I really just need for a 5X10 ft opening on my deck so I purchased a PVC white gate door at Home Depot and hoping that does the trick. Can't wait to be done with this. I can't get a photo to download but I think you get my drift.

The media could not be loaded. These curtains are worth the price. This summer has been a very hott one here in TX and they’ve held up!! We finally got some rain and they’ve held up to the wind and through a windy storm! So far so good, I’ll be taking them down every winter season since we good from summer to winter no fall seasons lol so hopefully that’ll help maintain the color and the integrity of the material!! Definitely recommend!

I got these for a west sun exposure on our patio. The color Mocha blends perfectly with our stained fence. We live in a HOA so we have to be careful to be unobtrusive. They have great coverage, are made of a sturdy fabric and hold up to garden hoses and Texas sun. Our patio is enjoyable again! I heartily recommend.
