I’ve bought this three times. Not any fault of the bassinet itself (gave one away, and one was stored improperly). I love this bassinet so much we have bought one for 3/4 of our babies (Didn’t know about it with the first!) It is sturdy, and has many different functions that help my babies sleep. This bassinet helped us not end up co-sleeping with our last three babies. It’s totally worth the cost, the only downside is it takes up quite a bit of room. Ok, first things first - trust your instincts. I was reading articles and reviews, trying to find the perfect simple bassinet for weeks. I had a feeling I wanted this one but some of the reviews made me questions myself. Needless to say, those people must all be nuts, lol. One girl talked about how much it rocks. The way she described it, I had visions on my baby swinging like a monkey on a vine right out the window. Absurd. It rocks/swings the perfect amount. Perfect for the baby to rock herself, perfect for the parent to give her a bit of movement. Very sturdy and stable. Another girl talked about how she couldn't feel the vibration at all but then mentioned how it was as loud as a Mac truck. Again, absurd. The vibration is perfect, after all, it's for a BABY. Of course it doesn't vibrate like an adult armchair and why would you want it to... and the noise is whisper quiet, this coming from someone with hyperacusis. Another girl talked about how the lights were brighter than the sun. Again... absurd. The lights are subtly and warm, stars look great on the ceiling, barely noticeable with any natural light. She clearly didn't learn how to work the dimmer. Wrapping up, a reminder - trust your instincts. Other people's reviews are helpful but not necessarily accurate. I bought this for my sister 5 years ago before she had my niece, my niece will be 5 in June so it got plenty of use and my sister loved it! She now has a newborn and was able to store this and use it for the new baby!

I had this exact bassinet for my first baby 5 years ago. We ended up giving it away to a friend because we weren't planning on having another. Well, we're having another lol. I knew right away what bassinet I wanted, I didn't want to try other brands or types. This is the easiest thing to put together takes like 5 mins. It's sturdy, easy to keep clean and I love the light/sound/vibration device. It gently vibrates the bassinet and it really does help get baby to go to sleep and stay asleep. I had this bassinet for my first child 3 years ago and he hated it because it moved a lot when he would startle at night. I bought it for my second child and he was ok as a newborn because we swaddles him. But now he’s 3 months old and kicking and flinging his arms at night wakes him up because the bassinet rocks and moves. I just realized that there’s Velcro on the ends of the bassinet (see pic) that you can use to keep it from moving! I tried it last night and he slept for 5 hours straight. Hopefully this helps parents love this bassinet again. I wish it had wheels on it to easily move around the house cause he loves the mobile and stares at it. I like that it has storage area under for blankets and burp rags and toys. It’s easy to assemble. I like the Light feature but it is bright when baby is sleeping. It has music that sooths baby. But the stars light doesn’t reach the ceiling so it’s pointless. It also vibrates. He’s almost grown out of it at 3 months so we will be giving this away soon. ... show more

I bought this around 3 months ago in a flurry of buying baby gear. I have returned from the newborn trenches and I must tell you.. the vibrate function and music is a game changer. Most used baby item. I can sleep (small bursts. Lol) thanks to him being comfortable.
