The instructions are not easy to follow. It was very confusing. The tank is not glass, it is a very light plastic. The temperature part is going back and forth between 23 and 24 degrees like a blinking light. It was difficult to put items in the tank for my fish. It is also not a 3 gallon tank. It took two gallons of water to fill it. Very misleading. I wish I would have read reviews before purchasing. Not worth the money.

The listing that I bought mine on said this was a glass tank. And so did the box that it came in. In big letters on the front of the box it said to BE FRAGIL GLASS INSIDE. But it isn't/ Its some sort of plastic. That alone wouldn't keep me from liking it though. It would be a good deal still if everything else worked well. But the problem is, they don't. The air pump and filter in this is very minimal and cheap. And frankly it just doesn't work correctly. It barely pumps any water. It is supposed to have air go into the tank as well as go to the top and down through the white sponge that lays in a tiny bit of water on the top. This is supposed to collect yucky stuff inside your tank. And then the water goes back down into the tank through little holes that is supposed to make it look like rain drops or something. But it isn't like you can even see that part really. And they barely come out. The sponge isn't even all the way under the water. There is barely enough water to keep it wet. You are supposed to be able to adjust the air flow, but it doesn't. It just makes one or the other work. NO MORE air flow comes out. Not if you want air to go into your tank and the top. Which of course you need. You can allow a tiny bit more air to go into the sponge area, but you have to turn off the flow to the part of the air that goes into the tank. Well, the thing is you need both of these. You absolutely need in the very least the little sponge filter. But then what stirs up the water to get the gunk into the filter? And what about air in the water for the fish? The other disappointing feature was the lights. I don't even know why they do these multiple light color options anyway. They are not good for your fish. Especially, if you are always changing it or putting it on the one after another option. It startles the heck out of my fish. I know because I have to go through several of them to get to the off position. And unfortunately, the normal color light is the least lit up one. You can barely see any of these lights, but the clear normal light color is especially bad. I don't understand. I've had many mini and small tank LED lights. And they all light up really well. But this almost acts as if it is broken. I am beginning to wonder if it is. The top of the tank and the lid are different. I've never had a tank with a lid like this before. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I like that I can get my cords in and out of the back. They give you a plastic piece that you set up on the front side so you can't tell there is a space in between the water and the lid. But I don't know why they didn't make it the same color as the tank. If they did it would have been hard to tell it wasn't just part of the tank lid. If the listing just did what it says, and they used better quality material and everything worked correctly than yeah, it would have been nice enough.

Do NOT buy this product. I purchased this in hopes of keeping a betta in it. The filter does not cycle properly & caused the lid to rust/grow mold. My fish died within a week of me placing him in this tank. Additionally, the entire tank is made of plastic and leaks if you need to move it. Again, do NOT purchase this product.

Best tank ever! Its self cleaning which i didn't understand how it worked but here's the key. Don't put gravel in it because the gravel holds the waste. Doesn't need sand. Don't put live shrimp in tank. The cleaning tube will suck them up. All you need to do is rinse the filter. I do it daily.
