I bought this as a good fat for my dogs. I stopped giving them kibble over two years ago and wanted to add some good fats to their diet. It smells HORRIBLE, but my two Siberian Huskies and Golden Retriever LOVE IT. One of my huskies can be a little finicky. I put his food down, show him the container, squirt some in his bowl over his food and he thinks he's getting something special. My other husky has really dry skin so I'm hoping this will help him. Every summer my 12 year old bull terrier would suffer from itchy skin The vet said to give him a bath every week to ease his suffering I decided to buy the salmon oil and after a few weeks of using hiscoat is thick he doesn't have that foul oder and absolutely no itching I also noticed his mobility was better and because his skin is better he is much more playful This will be part of his diet from here on out ... show more

Fantastic product! My dogs' coat are fantastic, dry skin and itching has stopped! I love this product and so do my dogs! I do nof pmace ir on tbeir food, but give e their dosage in their emlty food dish prior to their breakfast and lick their dishes clean!!!!

This oil changed our dog's fur. She has always had a raw diet of ground beef, carrots, pumpkin puree, turmeric, and a drizzle of salmon oil. For years we used a brand that was available in Europe but we switched to this brand upon moving to the US. Since doing so, she is noticeably shinier and softer. So there's something about this brand that is better than it's competitors, in my opinion. It really helps my dogs coats and skin, but for whatever reason this brand gives my dogs horrific, room-clearing gas. So I guess be aware of that if your dog is prone to that.
