Please Note: For the best charging performance, we recommend using an 18W or higher fast-charging power adapter. What charger power is used for slow/fast charging? Slow charging requires ≥10W (5V/2A input), while fast charging needs ≥18W (9V/2A input). Why does the charger show 100%, but the camera battery isn't full? A weak power adapter can cause a failed "handshake" with the charger, falsely reporting 100% charge when the battery isn't full. To avoid this, use an adapter with at least 10W output (18W+ recommended). Why does the displayed charging wattage fluctuate, and seem lower when the battery is fuller? Lithium batteries charge at max safe power below 80% (high steady wattage). Above 80%, voltage stays constant but current gradually drops to protect the battery, reducing displayed power. Why does charging from 99% to 100% feel so slow? Near full capacity, charging switches to a very low "trickle" current to prevent overcharging, overheating, and extend battery life. Batteries were charged 100% and unplugged but left them inside the charging unit might had caused discharging or self draining the batteries. Update: Chris from customer service helped me solved this issue. All batteries are good and they will maintain fully charged condition as long as they are taken out of the charging unit. I am very happy with its long battery life in my camera. I love the nice display that monitor the charging progress as batteries’ power level increases. I didn't see anyone else mention this, so maybe it was just me? The batteries got stuck in the camera. They were bigger than the ones it came with, and I had to pry them out. I sent it back. It does charge fast tho and the the charger is pretty compact.
