Twice infight, this battery has killed power, instantly, and my $1300, six-year old, still like brand spankin' new Mavic Air has pancaked to concrete, and then asphalt. First time, from three feet, which seemed to jar one latch slightly loose, but not unsecured. Still powered the aircraft. After that first incident, fully charged (same 1st time), carefully insured by tugging the battery was properly secured (as did the 1st flight). Lifted off, stayed low over grass, RTH. Ops check good. Lifted off again, sent the Mavic Air down the street about 50 feet away, 6 ~ 8 AGL, initiated a U-turn back to me, and just then PLOP ! Instant power off, dropped to the asphalt, flipped on it's back and scratched to hell now. Incredibly, that battery remained latched in place, fully charge indication, and powered the Mavic Air back up. These aftermarket batteries are unreliable.

The battery arrived, I put it on my mavic charger overnight. Flew it in my drone until the low battery warning, and then brought the drone home. Thats just my practice, I dont try to stretch the flight to the last minute. I know I have used this battery 4 flights now, and it charges in the same time as my other mavic batteries, lasts about the same (I mean, thats hard to tell) and haven't noticed it being any hotter when charging or anything like that.

Purchased battery in January 2024 and had maybe 8 flights on the battery. Battery will charge to full capacity however a couple of days ago the battery will go from 98% charged to zero while in flight nearly crashing my DJI drone. Beware of this after market battery. Could not make contact with seller. Of course Amazon would not refund my $98.00 because its been over 30 days. Guess I'm SOL. Update: Seller reached out and stated they would replace battery. Will update if or when I receive new battery. Update: June 19,2024. Received new battery from seller at no charge. Kudos to seller JINzhiyan for being a standup guy and looking out for the customer. Will do business with him in the future.

Just as good as the original battery but more affordable. Build quality is solid. Run time per flight is just about 20 minutes. Charges fine with the original charger as well. Hopefully it lasts for years to come.

Cheaper alternative but not as good as OEM, it charges as quickly but the drone doesn't last as long as the old OEM one used to before it failed. Good cost effective alternative but don't expect anything more than that.

I saw some of the other reviewers' complaints that the battery just up and died (even in mid-flight). I have not had that experience, but then again, I don't fly my drone on a regular. I've probably put the battery through a handful of charges and everything has worked as it should. Electronics companies tend to void your warranty for any damaged caused by third-party accessories (especially electrical components), so given that this FirstPower battery is basically the same price as a DJI battery...I'll probably just stick with the name brand one.

This battery seemed good at first, but stopped working the second time I used it while my drone was 30 feet in the air. My drone dropped out of the sky like a stone. I do not recommend anyone ever use this battery!

I have a Mavic Air and two "genuine" DJI batteries. I wanted to pick up another one for a little more flight time, but they're getting more and more difficult to find. These are a pretty decent option. Reasonably priced and it works fine. Charges fine with the OEM charger, LEDs and power button function the same. It fits well in the drone, no issues. The one thing to be aware of, is that you can't use this battery while updating the firmware, you need an original battery for that. So far I have no problems flying with this one, and I'm getting about the same flight time as with the OEM batteries. (about 20 minutes with Master Airscrew "Stealth" props on)
