"wait, what?? No way those things have no juice!" Hear me out. I've had both NPF and V-Mounts. NPF take FOREVER to charge and theyre bulky to keep around. The V-Mount adds unnecessary weight to my rig. I keep 3 of these for one shoot day and 2-3 last me the whole day. Now look, if you're shooting 6K continuous for like an interview or something then you need to plug it in. But if you shoot for minutes at a time like I do for run and gun visuals or quick ads, this has been the best solution for me. 6K lasts me about 20-25 minutes per battery so that's like an hour each but guess what I do... ...I charge them while I'm not using them lol They're portable and I never run out. I never record more than an hour per day of continuous footage but if I did, having a bunch of these is WAYYY easier. Trust me. lol Honestly the only benefit V-mount for me is charging other devices or the weight to stabilize handheld footage.

These were compatible with my Canon camera. Also charges in canon brand battery charger. Haven’t had any issues - seems to hold a charge just as long as original.
