The Raider has everything that one wishes for in a leather riding jacket! The Raider is made with Diamond Naked Cowhide Leather. The thickness and quality of this leather provides a strong layer of protection against impacts, road rash, and other potential injuries. It molds to the body over time, offering a snug fit and excellent flexibility, allowing for ease of movement while riding. This center zip style jacket has tons of hidden features and pockets. The action back, zippered sleeves with gussets, chest and back vents are great features for comfort on long motorcycle rides. Action backs are made to provide a better fit and improved comfort for riders. The pleats or stretch panels in the back of the jacket accommodate the natural movements of the rider, preventing discomfort from wearing a rigid or tight-fitting jacket. The zip out thermal liner helps you adjust for changing temperatures, too!

Great jacket. I’m 6’1” and 225 lbs, wear size 38 jeans and 46 Long suit. The XL fits perfectly even around my beer gut. At first it was a bit snug around my hips but after break-in time it fits great. Sleeve length is okay when stretched out on the bike. Liner is a bit thin so I will wear the thermal liner from my military field jacket on cooler days. I’m not sure if I could get a thick hoodie on under this and get it zipped all the way up. There’s a ton of storage in this jacket. I can carry riding gloves on one side of my chest and an extra pair of glasses on the other side without a huge bulge in the profile. Not to mention that I have my cell phone, wallet and smokes stashed away too. The leather is soft and thick but not stiff like you would expect in a brand new jacket. For the price you really can’t find a better deal. In my opinion this is equal quality and warmth of a Harley jacket for 1/3 the price. I just got this jacket so I'm not reviewing how well it holds up. I am reviewing its out of the box fit as well as its break in fit. I wear an extra large in everything. XL always fits me perfectly. This jacket fits me perfectly. Yes, a brand new leather jacket with a lining is going to feel a bit snug to begin with, especially if you try and wear a flannel or a hoodie too. But that's new. This leather relaxes pretty quickly and starts to feel much more comfortable. Leather jackets (and vests) stretch over time from use, and wearing layers, and wind, and putting things in the pockets, and and and. If you wear different sizes in different shirts and coats I have no advice for you. If you always wear a particular size like me, get that one. If you're heavy, you might look at a different style. This one is definitely a rather athletic cut The leather is soft and supple right out of the box, and smells exactly like a leather jacket smells when new. My only gripe so far is that there are TOO MANY POCKETS. I can't find things. I can't even feel some of them. The chest pockets (3 stacked) go pretty deep and it's a long reach if you drop something small in them. Don't forget which one you put your keys in. It'll be 15 minutes before you find them. I'm still discovering new pockets I didn't know were there. I'm half joking but seriously, I think they could drop the number of pockets by half and you'd still have too many. ... show more

Good quality leather. very useful pocket designs. I am a very critical reviewer in a day and age when either quality stinks because it is just cheap crap and even if you are willing to spend the money on quality you often don't get it or it's just poorly designed making it not functional. This jacket feels heavy with good quality. All the zippers function well and it is very warm ( I live in the midwest it is zero degrees today). The pocket design is smart and the jacket looks good. As a minimal critique with all the pockets it can be like a woman digging in a giant purse to find things but if you want a lot of pockets you should expect it. I noticed this jacket only had one review which was one star, the author stating that he couldnt get his arms in the sleeves. Well no one is making Gun Show jokes when looking at my arms (16 inch biceps) but they fit fine in this jacket. I am a 46 Long in jackets usually and the XL Raider jacket fits me perfectly. I wouldnt mind one more inch in the sleeves when my arms are fully extended on my bike but I wouldnt say the sleeves are short. All that being said this jacket is a well made, high quality product. The leather is beautiful and thick but the jacket is not stiff. It has more pockets than you'll ever need. I own a vest from First Mfg Co as well and its quality is just as good. For the price and for what you get, I dont think you can find a better deal. ... show more

The size chart is way off. I had someone else carefully measure me with a soft ruler and when the jacket arrived it was way too small. They offer returns but what they don’t say is you have to pay to ship it back. I had to pay $50 just to ship it back for a mistake they made. With such a poor experience just trying to buy the jacket I can only imagine what a letdown the jacket would have been if I owned it over an extended period of time. There are plenty of other amazing brands out there for the same price so I would choose one of those if you can. This jacket is a hard pass. ... show more

Just received mine today. The quality is exceptional! Stitching and zippers are solid. Liner is smooth and warm. Leather is nice and thick, but not so much that it hinders mobility. Sizing is pretty much spot on for what you would wear for your shirt size. I wear an XL t-shirt and the XL jacket fits fine with only a t-shirt on underneath. I couldn't comfortably wear a hoodie or a sweatshirt underneath it with the liner attached. Granted, I'm on the cusp of needing a 2XL t-shirt in the belly area, so I'm probably the exception rather than the rule (I can use this as motivation to lose the 10 lbs I've been promising my doctor I would for the last 10 years, lol). This jacket is top notch. Thick and high quality leather. Very warm and comfy. Even without the liner it's still very warm. I took an hour long nap wearing the jacket and it didn't bother me at all and it was all I needed to stay warm. It's a bit stiff for the first several rides but I know the leather needs to wear in so I'm fine with that ... show more
