I’m 5’6”, 155 lbs, hourglass build - 29” waist/40” hip. Usually wear a 27/28 in jeans or a size 8/medium for in athletic wear. I bought the brown ones in medium and large to compare. I could have kept either size, and the side by side pictures were very similar. I felt the medium was slightly more flattering than the large- so I kept the medium. The medium accentuated my shape better, but the large would have worked too. If my waist wasn’t as small I probably would have kept the large. The waist snatches you in nicely and the flowy cut is really flattering. For those of us with a small waist to hip ratio this is a big deal because the waist actually fits and isn’t baggy. If you have a small waist and big butt/thighs the cut is perfect. The material is slightly longer in the back so it actually covers my butt, and the sides are slightly shorter so it has a nice silhouette. I feel confident wearing these out and about without feeling like I’m showing too much (im in great shape but I’m 32 not 22 lol). The large size was only slightly longer than the medium, but there was more material so it seems like the coverage would be equal if I was heavier. The material is soft and light weight, the shorts underneath are comfortable and stretchy. The shorts are form fitting and fit snuggly in the medium for me, a little looser in the large. There are pockets in the inner shorts. They washed well on warm, delicate cycle. I hung them to dry and they dry fast. The brown color is accurate to the picture. We will see how they hold up but the quality seems to be good so far. I feel like these are really versatile because they look like a skirt but you can still tell that they’re shorts. Could definitely dress up (like the black color) or dress down. I will be buying more colors. Would be great for golfing or passenger princess in the golf cart, tennis, running, brunch, or pretty much anytime if you want to look/feel cute but are a casual/comfy girl at heart. Hope this helps!

AMAZING shorts!! I ended up getting these in two colors because I loved the first pair so much. The fabric is seriously butter soft, super stretchy, and really comfortable without feeling too tight or compressive. I originally got them for running, and I LOVE that they have pockets on both sides because I can easily carry my running gels, keys, or phone. The built-in shorts underneath are great quality too and give really nice coverage. What surprised me most is how flattering these are. The crossover waistband is so cute and snatches the waist without digging in. They’re technically running shorts, but honestly they look cute enough to wear out casually too. Amazon recommended a medium for me and the fit was perfect. Definitely one of my favorite Amazon clothing purchases lately. These shorts are very stretchy and comfortable. The waistband is very flattering and I love the way they look from the front. There is a minor fit issue on me. In the back right near my tailbone, the shorts pucker out in a weird spot unless I pull them up really far. I’m not sure if they are too small? They fit great everywhere else. For reference I bought a small. I am 5’4” and fluctuate in the 130lb range. These are great for people with larger hips than their waists, but the shorts do ride up in the inner thighs and the waistband does curl a little bit during working out. Loveee that they have pockets on the side and are made with a nice flowy and lightweight material. They are great for tennis, pickleball, running, and weightlifting. Overall, I really like them and will be keeping them. I think I might buy another pair in a size medium to compare the fit. It’s been a couple of weeks and I bought a second pair of shorts in a brown color. They don’t pucker out in the back like the white ones did. But the spandex shorts fit tighter around my thighs and the shorts are shorter than the white pair, but also flowier somehow. I stuck with the size small and I still like the size. I honestly think they would be too flowy in the medium size. Since the spandex shorts were tighter in the brown pair they roll up when you workout but overall they are still comfortable and cute.

While these shorts were comfortable and flattering, the under short needs a plastic grip around the inside leg band. As a bigger thighed girl these rode up so much when I walked. It was really irritating. Please fix that.

LOVE THESE! Even with the lighter color, the material quality is nice and not see through. I love the shorts underneath for long walking days! I find the crossover waistband to be very flattering. For reference, I am 5'7 and usually XXL in items. I ordered XXL and was not disappointed. I think they are flowy enough to be flattering but not so much so to be bulky. I love that I can wear these for a quick workout or a day to the zoo, they are so versatile! After searching for summer shorts as someone who struggles to find flattering and comfy shorts, these have left me speechless!

Very cute! I love the color options. I got the navy/darker blue. I would recommend sizing up if you have average/larger thighs. The compression shorts are a little tight, but still a great purchase. Very soft material and lightweight. Great quality and I plan to purchase more.
