Description

Smoke Comparison Conserve Fuel and Reduce Smoke. Always set the wick ever so slightly above the wick holder so only a nub is showing. This ensures all of your fuel will burn and you will get less smoke. If you set it too high, you will experience smoke. To conserve fuel and reduce smoke/soot, here are some tips. Remove any residual fuel from the reservoir before filling with Firefly Fuel. NEVER MIX FUELS. Mixing fuels will change burning properties. Use a clean wick. If the wick is contaminated with old fuel/water, it will not perform properly. In a pinch, if you only have one wick, you can... 1) Dry the wick as much as possible using a paper towel. 2) Soak the wick in Firefly Fuel until it is completely saturated. That's it.
