  • Great Low end CQB alternative for the money.
Color: Red Laser Style: 2.5-10x40
MIL reticle is repeatable at any specific indicated magnification. However, even though the zoom range appears consistent at 4:1 the actual magnification of one sample I own is about 30% lower than the other. I would estimate the one sample to be 2-8 magnification while the other might be closer to 2.75-11 magnification. The two samples bought the same day have different ocular objective assemblies but both are reasonable for my purposes. Elevation and Windage are 1/2" per click at 100 yards so that works out to about 7 clicks per MIL. Red Green illuminated reticle reflects off of inside of tube so you probably will use reticle illumination sparingly. Reticle is crisp and clean after adjusting the ocular diopter adjustment. There is no parallax adjustment so expect difficulty if you combine high magnification and close range. Parallax appears to be set around 100 yards or meters. The Objective lens has a sloped shade and no Lens covers were provided. That could be an issue for some. Mounts to a standard Weaver or Picatinny Rail. Red Laser model uses two AG13 batteries or a single 1/3N, Green Laser use CR2, both models claim 16-hour laser battery life. Reticle illumination is CR2032 claiming 100 hours. The bullet drop compensator has settings for a .223 so on a .22LR or a 9mm carbine expect the 2, 3, 4, and 5 to each add closer to 30 or so yards to your 100 yard zero from position 1. Best to set it on low magnification and the compensator on position 1 for reflexive situations and zoom to higher magnification or adjust elevation only when expecting or experiencing distant or less time critical targets. Would buy again if in the market and at the $70-80 price point. Actually, I own two at 2.5-10x40 and one at 1.5-5x32. Would I take it into battle? Only if better options were not available. It is a great low-priced option for a farm gun, but I can afford better when my life depends on it. ... show more

  • Doesn’t make sense on an AR platform.
Color: No laser Style: 2.5-10x40
The thing that drew my attention to this inexpensive scope was the ease of trajectory adjustment for a .223 round. For an AR however, this scope is very hard to acquire a quick sight. The eye relief is pretty close and mount is low, so it forces you off your natural AR stance and posture. Due to this it was a no go for me. That being said for the price I’ve seen worse. Adjustments feel low quality-ish but the overall construction seems solid. Illumination is nice specially the green. If you’re rig is a bipod shooter then maybe. I prefer more mobility. ... show more

  • Nice for the price
Color: No laser Style: 2.5-10x40
Can’t beat it for the price. I put it on my truck gun that I’m going to bang around. Looks good to me.

  • Good value for the money
Color: No laser Style: 2.5-10x40
I decided to give this optic a try after a friend recommended it. I was not gentle with this optic. I wanted to know how robust and durable it was. A dozen drops from shoulder height and thousands of 5.56 rounds down range. Zero is holding true. Glass is clear and it has yet to fog up. Be aware that the eye relief is tight as most optics of this type are. I'm satisfied with this optic. ... show more

  • Great quality for the price
Color: No laser Style: 1.5-5X32
Im impressed with both the quality, and functionality of this scope. Its not perfect and you can tell its not, but, pros: it is very nice, and well made. It is heavy duty, holds 0, stiff dials, and heavy duty mount. The red and green illuminated reticle works very well, and with 5 lighting levels is comfortable to the eye in any light condition. cons: the glass is not as clear as higher quality scopes( although negligibly so) and i cant quite get it perfectly focused(although that could be my old eyes) neither of these hinders the performance of the scope. Ive already used this scope to harvest 2 hogs in vey low light conditions, and it is extremely accurate. ... show more

After 6 months I go to mount it and the bullet drop compensator is stuck and don't move. At first It did work when I first purchased it but now it is to stiff I have to use channel locks to adjust it.

Works as expected, picture clarity could be better but for under 200yds does fine
