I thought this would have more in it about the new Fire 7" $49.99 tablet. This new tablet is quite different in many respects from the earlier version I have of the Kindle Fire 7" HD. I'd like to see a book solely on the new 5th generation Fire released Oct. 2015. This book can be used as a general guide, but discusses many features not available on the new fire & leaves out things that I needed to have covered. Was helpful with my new tablet. The pictures were real copies of the tablet screen and difficult to see what the author was describing. A black and white illustration would have been more helpful in locating the icons she was describing.

Worthless! If you're looking to buy a Fire, they always mention you can increase storage by buying a memory card. Not one word in this book about buying, installing, or using a memory card. There seems to be a lot of obsolete terms in the book that does not apply to the current Fire. Mayday? Firefly? Pictures don't match the current Fire Tablet. My wife wanted the Fire so she could play games on it. Guess what....Lots of info about books and readers. Lots of info about movies. Lots of info about music. Games? Nothing! One page has a picture of a solitaire game. No info on where it came from or how to get it. For me and my wife, this was a waste of money. I'll have to keep looking for a book that is actually useful. ... show more
