There are two brands. I've tried the inexpensive one. They're not worth the money you save. You use twice as many. The ones that I use from this company are great. They stand up to the weight of hard wood. The bricks obviously will cost a little more. But the quality is so much better! I had the replace some bricks before winter was finished. I always will recommend these bricks.

I installed these in a barrel wood burner kit I got off Amazon. They were very easy to cut and I threw a few pieces into the active wood burner. They didn't have any issues with heat. I took a torch to another piece and still had no issues. They are brittle if you try to break them, but I used a skill saw and a small wood saw to shape them. They also didn't seem to have any issues with oil. I used a respirator when I was cutting them because I dont know what material their made of.

These are very fragile. They arrived well packed but one brick was cracked. The company allowed the return and I am happy with the overall purchase. Delivery time was a little bit long but the bricks were exactly as described. They work well for their intended purpose in my firepit and were very easy to use and cut to size as required.

I installed and waited to write review until the wood stove had a few months of fires. I have been very happy with the bricks. My very old stove was heading out the door but these bricks have made a huge difference and the wood stove goes 24 hours. No issues with the bricks breaking etc. Definitely a yes

Unlike another seller where the packaging was shoddy resulting in 10 of 12 bricks arriving broken. Don’t appear to be very breakable. Appears to be of quality - these bricks haven’t been used yet, so can’t comment as to durability.
