This is the smoothest finish I've ever had on an eyeglass case. Which introduced me to a minor negative feature in a product like this -- it's so smooth, it's almost slippery. Not quite bar-of-soap territory, but more slippery than you might want for an item you go to grasp with one hand. I would have preferred (and paid a bit more for) a fabric texture. The other minor negative feature is that this case snaps closed like a snapping turtle. Not sure why they designed it this way; the other snap-close eyeglass cases I have are not nearly this forceful. Holy slam slam, Batman. However, the price point is good on this product.
