It even has a rubber strap on one corner that stretches out to hold the keyboard when it's closed, which is a nice touch when you have the Surface Pro in a carrying case or backpack. I'm glad I bought this case the day after I got my new pro 9. When I dropped it, I tried to catch it, only to make the drop much worse than it should have been. When I picked it up, there was no damage at all. Pros: -It does its job protecting it from hefty drops. At least it did for me. -Easy to put on and also easy to remove for cleaning. -Shows off the beauty that is the pro 9. -Good access for the charger, USB ports, and keyboard Cons: -The blue is more of a baby blue color, doesn't quite match the color of the computer. -The plastic scratches SUPER easy. -When the keyboard is attached, it can be difficult to open without harming the keyboard itself. I can only give it four stars because of the cons. The very first time I took it off for cleaning, I used a good microfiber cloth, and it still put scratch marks all over the plastic. (It did not have any kind of marks or scratches on it at all beforehand.) It's extremely noticeable to the point where it makes the computer look like it is scratched. I got this for my work laptop/tablet and have travelled plenty and taken it daily with me to and from work. This means I’ve also dropped it or hit it with the case on quite a bit, but not only has it not affected the device itself but it hasn’t made a dent or a scratch on the case itself! Easy to use even when popping out the stand or if you have the detachable keyboard. The only thing that takes getting used to is that, since it’s a hybrid tablet/laptop, when you detach the keyboard it leaves an open gap on that side, whereas the rest has that hard plastic casing but I wouldn’t think there’s any other way they’d be able to design it to make space for a magnetic keyboard. 10/10 would recommend! ... show more
