This is a good backdrop for a non-commercial batting cage. It isn't quite as heavy duty as what you'd see at a commercial batting cage facility, but it is good for a backyard batting cage. It both provides a reference for where you are "throwing" balls (both live pitch and calibrating a pitching machine) and absorbs impact from balls so that the batting cage net doesn't prematurely break down behind the batter. It isn't a super thick batting cage backdrop, but it is sturdy and heavy duty enough to absorb impact. I am satisfied with the quality, but I would prefer to see the price come down slightly.

We got this in preparation for the upcoming spring softball season. Right now we have snow on the ground and are unable to use it outside. It is a very heavy duty material that has metal rings that will allow you to hang it in a manner of your choosing. We will be using more as a backstop as our daughter can hit very hard and our backyard is no longer big enough for just the net set up, it will help keep the softballs from going to far astray. The material is very much like what is on the backstop at the place she goes for practice, which to me is a good sign. As she is not a pitcher I can not speak to the strike zone but I know some of the other reviews have mentioned that so you would want to check them. Overall very pleased and can't wait for the season to start!! Good luck to all the players!!!

This backdrop has helped tremendously with both pitching and batting practice. For pitching it gives my players a good target to aim for. For batting it allows me to aim the pitches to give my players a better feel for when to swing.

This backstop is heavy duty and send well made. This was ordered in advance for when we assemble the new batting cage in the spring. We plan to hang it behind the net as both a target and as an added stop for those fast flying hardballs. While it definitely appears capable of handling the job to it is also definitely overpriced. You may find was better deal for the same quality.

Baseball season has started, and this backstop has been awesome for our pitchers to practice with on a regular basis. They’re 8/9 years old, so it’s perfect for pitch after pitch while they learn technique. It’s made with quality materials and is easy to attach. Very pleased with this backstop!

So far so good, I had a tarp behind me when catching that has withered and tore and did not protect the back wall. I wish I had this backstop sooner, super easy to put up, I have used it for a week daily and no wear and tear so far and has hung pretty well, as you can see the size could be larger but it serves its purpose and really like the catcher and strike zone graphic. All of my kids have used this and pretty happy with it.

Having a 10U ball player in the house and him playing on a select team requires a lot of practice and practice equipment at the house. We have an outdoor batting cage in our back yard we were looking for a strike zone backdrop to help with pitching and batting. This backdrop is heavy duty and withstands hardballs hitting off of it. This backdrop has 8 heavy duty grommets for easily hooking onto a fence or your personal batting cage. The necessary hangers come with the backdrop. Only downside is how low the strike zone is printed on this backdrop. This is made for youth players. Other than that this is a great strike zone backdrop that is heavy duty and will help your youth ball player with either pitching or batting.
