    • Inexpensive full-size portable, foldable keyboard, good for travel

I purchased this to carry with me so that I have something to practice with when I travel. It folds in half, is USB rechargeable, comes with a music stand, and is much easier to carry and travel with than a full size non-foldable keyboard. This easily fits in an airplane overhead or under the seat in front of me. It has a click lock when it unfolds and an extra plastic piece that can be inserted for added security. It comes with a basic foot pedal for sustain, wall adapter/charger, music stand, carry bag, and a few other minor accessories. The case is thin material, not padded, so I have to be very careful with this not to damage the piano keyboard inside. Save the little styrofoam pad that covers the on/off switch, or a slight bump and it can turn on inside the case during transport. The keyboard keys are relatively low quality plastic and feel like a childrens toy, but it is a full size keyboard and suitable for practice on the go. The keys are lightly semi-weighted and do sound louder if I hit them harder. Every white key and every black key plays fine and at appropriate volume relative to all other keys. The sustain pedal works properly. Battery life is good, and it also plays while plugged in and charging. On the digital volume control the lowest setting is a little too loud, so I have to use headphones if I don’t want to bother other people at night or early morning if they’re sleeping. The voice quality of the piano itself is mediocre, not for performance, but again, fine for practice. It has many other programmable digital voices as well, electric piano, organ, strings, horns, bells, etc, most of which I don’t use, but are fun for the kids. So on balance, for an affordable, portable, foldable, practice keyboard, this is good, understanding the many limitations, and I also let the smaller grandchildren play with it, and this is a good instrument for them to bang away on more so than the more expensive electric and acoustic pianos in our house. Purchased this for a child who wanted "something to do" on cold days. I'm impressed. I have a professional KORG keyboard that I use and was thinking of this unit more as a toy before it arrived. I have to admit that this little keyboard has great potential for the price. It's a great training tool, has lots of built in sounds and features and connects easily to phone or iPad for training materials available on line. Love that it folds up too! If my Korg is a 10, this little unit is a easy 4 or 5 and is not even 10% of the cost of my Korg. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like the board the portability and the firm factor. My only complaint is the velocity van use some improvement. One has to be very careful and honest with their technique while playing this instrument or there will be an uneven sound. The Bluetooth is great just adjust the latency to your needs. I use this piano with my ipad for Vst. Everything responds well except for the velocity issues I mentioned before. ... show more

Really great keyboard for the money. Really no down sides besides you can’t use earbuds. Headphones are fine still has some hiss noise coming but not as bad as earbuds. I would not recommend using earbuds. If your planning on only using headphones with this board I still wouldn’t recommend. Lucky I’ll only use the headphones at night and play during the day without so I can stand the hiss noise. ... show more

I put it on an L table, and the large 3 ring binder with hardly any music in it made the whole thing wobble. I have a violin stand with a removable top, though, and I just used that. It's not really like a real piano or most keyboards. I haven't played much since 2005, and it was hard to play softly. (I was a music major with piano as my major instrument for a year at a serious music school.) I was gonna use it to record and sell my playing a few classical songs for an album online, as long as it doesn't break like my last one, which was $100-$200, used to be more than now, and it wasn't a folding one, from maybe 2-3 years ago. I moved away and got a rolling keyboard which is very hard to play for me and broke, as well. It's like a cute variation or option of a keyboard, for someone who's played many a keyboard. I don't know what a beginner should do. I had a keyboard, a Yamaha, in 1996. It might have had 88 keys. I used it for maybe 2 years. Then, I got a used piano, which was okay but worse, as they lied about being able to fix it. I finally got a new piano when we moved, but that's another story. It's not like a real instrument, but I like it a lot and would still use it to sell my music for now for the money as I need it sorely. ... show more

My son asked for an 88 key, portable piano. Well, portable is an issue since we have a very compact car that's usually carrying 2 kids, 2 adults, and the occasional pet. There's no way even the slimmest full keyboard will fit. Folding piano to the rescue! It's great! It's a full 88 keys, it fits in the car, and it links to my son's tablet. I really, really wanted this keyboard to be great. The folding aspect was a great idea, and it comes with many neat accessories such as a nice gig bag, a cloth, a sustain pedal, a clip, and even headphones. It is also chargeable, so you do not need to be near an outlet to play it. However, the most negative thing about it was that the F key just to the right of the fold only worked intermittently and the sound of the keyboard in general is not great.
