Only been in use a month, but has kept the pump, clean and running strong. Not sure how easy it will be to clean it. But it helped make our pond crystal clear from the murky green it became during the winter.

This was easy to assemble but a tad difficult to deploy. The drawstrings may need to be tweaked, depending on the size of your pipe. Eventually, I was able to tie it on so there were no gaps. Once that happened, it worked perfectly. Be aware, algae WILL GROW on the screen material and you'll have to clean it every so often.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect solution. The filter sponge in my pond pump had deteriorated and I could not get a replacement. I purchased a bag filter but it would Collect debris at the pump intake, lessening the water flow to the water feature. This gives some separation between the bag filter and the pump intake maximizing flow. This was the perfect solution for my pond. It was also quick and easy to build.

While this did work on my small pond filter, I'm not sure it was needed. I was hoping this would lessen the frequency of having to maintain my pond pump, but it did not. I still noticed my pump slowing down near the same time it normally would. Instead of the pump being covered in slugde, the outer bag was covered in sludge, which still caused the pump to slow down. My pump still had a lot of muck on it as well, resulting in having to clean not only the pump, but also the bag. Not sure it made enough difference to be worth it for me. I do have ducks which are quite messy, but I know how often I need to clean my pump and this didn't lessen that time for me.

Great design. Don't have to worry about clogged intakes again. Went together in a snap. Bag is nice and tight on frame. Closes tightly against hose to keep debris out.
