The ratchet feature on the back of the neck was very easily adjusted and did not bother us at all while snowboarding. Plenty of channels for air flow but also kept the ears warm. Safety wise I felt safe wearing it and the way the foam material surrounds the skull. The chin strap was comfortable and easily adjusted. I tons of snow helmets for size and color. I was worried since this one doesn’t have vents to open and close but I’ve worn it in cold, snowy weather and now in warm sunny weather while skiing. It’s fantastic! I don’t overheat, can hear fine through the ear pads, and I love the bright color!

The fit & finish of this helmet is very good. A word of caution however is the description which states that the ventilation on the helmet is adjustable. It is not. The vents are open and there is no method to adjust and or close. The other issue states that the ear pads are removable. They are not. If these two issues are not important to you then you're getting an awesome helmet! The inner fleece lining (removable) is soft and comfortable. This helmet is truly goggle friendly and it is a perfect fit. I ordered a large with a different vendor and it was very uncomfortable. I would have exchanged it for a Medium but it would not get to me on time. This Findway Medium Ski Helmet is just what I needed. Thank You!!
