Description
The FR1220HDSFQ is a 12V 15 GPM fuel transfer pump that comes with a particulate filter, 3/4" filter head, 3/4" x 18' discharge hose, 3/4" multi- plane swivel, 3/4" automatic nozzle (green), 34" telescoping steel suction pipe, 18' 12GA power cable, (2) 3/4" female elbows, 3/4" x 7" pipe nipple, ground wire, (2) wire nuts, and a roll of PTFE tape . It can be used to pump gasoline, diesel, kerosene, ethanol blends up to 15%, methanol blends up to 15%, and bio-diesel up to B20.

Check to make sure that all required parts are in the box.

When you open the package, be certain to check that all required parts are in the box. Obviously, my package had been opened and a couple critical parts were missing. I had to go to the local hardware store to secure the parts I needed for it to function. It’s advertised to pump 15 gallons per minute. Mine is lucky to pump five, even though there is a little to no elevation to deal with.

Leaks, won’t pump full capacity, and loosens constantly

Terrible which is surprising for a Fill Rite. I have a 100 gallon tank and it won’t pump out more than 50 gallons. My GPI pumps every gallon out of its tank. I’m very disappointed and just want it to work at this point. Second worst thing it does it leak all over my truck bed. It drips constantly even with the power disconnected. Lastly, the motor likes to loosen from the bottom down spout housing. It’s the 4 bolts that hold it together as well as the nozzle holder bolts.
