It tastes fine for braising and sautéing food as the taste of the oil doesn't take away from the food. I decided not to use it on salads and use regular olive oil for that.

I've been using this olive oil for more years than I can count. I'm not a fan of EVOO so this oil fits the bill for me. It is getting more difficult to find in grocery stores; the Amazon price is also better than grocery stores. Having olive oil delivered to my door? What could be better?

The best. Great taste and excellent or cooking. I also use Fillip Berio extra virgin. I grew up on this stuff; my NYC=Italian Mom used it all the time in the big tins. I've tried other oils imported from Italy, Spain etc....yet I still like Fillipo Berio the best. Both extra virgin and classic olive oil . ~DM ... show more

Yes, it's our favorite in our house, especially to make homemade mayo. It's light and the tin is a plus instead of plastic. The Amazon price was $2 less than our grocery store. However, Amazon does not get stars from me regarding shipping. The can of olive oil came in a box wrapped in a thin layer of plastic wrap. The can was dented along the bottom and right side, and the bottom bulged due to the damage. I poured the oil into the can I used up to be sure nothing would start leaking. I was hoping to keep this as a subscription but will not. It's back to the grocery store, or none at all due to the rising prices. ... show more
